A water mod is a modification that changes the look/texture of the water.  Anyway, nice suburbs and city! The green is very noticeable, and the atmosphere seems calm.  Your 2nd pic looks odd with just that one highrise in the middle of all of those low and middle density buildings. Oh well: it probably looks better in the city/region view up against all of the other highrises. Keep it up!<img alt="" src="https://community.simtropolis.com/assets/emoticons/19.gif" />

Here are some more updates 1.gif

    Lexworld Industries Expands East

The Eastern part of Metropolis is growing rapidly, newer suburbs and industral parks are being constructed. Lexworld Industries (also part of Lexworld Enterprises, which has its World Headquarters in Downtown, if you forgot 1.gif)  has just built a huge Industrial Park east of Downtown. Its very hightech and enviromentally friendly like everyother place in the city 2.gif Lexworld also built a new luxurious middle to high class neighborhood next to the country club and under the industreal complex.

    img71/5947/010zu.jpg

Highrise Condos being built around Metropolis University

CityHawk was right, Skyrise Deluxe Condos Towers did look wierd by itself, so I rezoned a few city blocks, and now a few other highrise condos are in the area. The views are incredible here. You can get a panoramic view of all of Downtown with no buildings blocking the view.

    img91/3097/019kg.jpg

    Bryall Park Hotel Suites Opens

Located next to Bryall Park (originally Metropolis Field) and the JC Summit Arena, Bryall Park Hotel Suites is a new highrise Hotel Tower with great views of Downtown and Bryall Park. The tower has over 1,000 suites and is about 60 floors high. It is loacated next to the tall spire topped Bryall Towers, once the tallest in metropolis, now squeezed between the Galviston Steel Tower and the Bryall Park Hotel suites.

Koster International moves world headquarters to Metropolis

The Moiniqe Financial Tower was renamed to the Koster International World Headquarters Tower, the golden tower has great views of North City and the suburbs, but a little too close for comfort to the Lexworld Enterprises Tower. Yet both towers look great at night.

Here is a map of the City, not to Detailed, because I havent shown

    -Metropolis Park

    -Not much of Central City

-Not much of West City Industrial Area

    -Not much of North City

-And hardly any of the disirable South City, home to Galaxy Studios

    img86/562/014hp.jpg

Here is a shot of the city from space, imagine in the future when suburban cities are surrounding Metropolis 1.gif

Yes, the 2nd pic does look much better now. Great job on pulling in those big industrial companies that build highrises in downtown and hi-tech industrial buildings in the suburbs. Also, the region view is simply amazing! I see that map filling up mighty fast with your creations. Keep it up!9.gif

Also, what is your region population right now?

WOW nice downtown, but I just don't like those skyscrapers popping out of a low res area its wierd, you never see that in real life.

I really don't know, not much of the city left to develop

Here are two pictures of new development to the west, but I was trying to get a wide city shot, then my computer froze, so these industires and houses don't exist anymore, but I'll rebuild.

New Industries in the Northwest City Area

Nice layout and direction signs. Your sims shouldn't have any trouble finding anything...then again, sims in general are stupid anyway, but that's not your fault. Great job!44.gif

Wow, this is really a fantastic city! I've got a pretty big one myself and was looking how much bigger the building could get! This is a beautiful example, your whole city looks nice!

    What's your secret?! 3.gif

What do the mods do you mention at the first page? And how much tiles do the big buildings require (like 3x3, 3x4)?
