I'd like to have a small rural church like you would see on a calendar or poster of those found in New England, in the farm areas usually in a Valley.

 

It should have a steeple, but no cross on the top, and no red door. Those are specific sects and I want a community church, one that welcome everybody.

 

It this occurs, I will be sure to use it on one or more CSX GA series farm lots.

 

I would expect this to fit onto either a 1x1 or a 1x2 lot. I think this would be big enough for the small church I visualize.

If anyone has the time, maybe they would like to make the Bank One Tower in Indianapolis.  It is a cool looking building, and at 811 feet tall, it is large in size.  Here is a picture for aspiring BATters.

 

 

(Hint:  its the tall one!)  It is really great looking close up and is a great building for any region that's 350,000 and up.

 

Also, if anyone wants to do the Soldiers and Sailors monument, let me know and I will get a better picture for that.  The Soldiers and Saliors monument is right in front of the Bank One Tower, in Monument Circle. (for those of you not familiar with Indy)

how about 401 E. Pratt St , Baltimore, MD?
It is also known as The World Trade Center-Baltimore. It is 30 stories tall, 423 ft tall. has a large observation deck on the 27th floor. it is the tallest pentagon shaped building in the world.

and then Power Plant in Baltimore . also known as the building that holds the ESPN Zone-Baltimore, Barnes and Noble, and Hard Rock Cafe.

What is really funny is look at Boca's building thread then go to Simcity3000 unlimited site and look at the building exchange. You can see how real they look compare to back then.

I'd like to see a very grand looking stub-end train station.

a lot like south station in boston


(By stub-end I mean where the train tracks fan out and just dead-end into the back of the station).
Right now there are some very nice-looking trainsit-enabled train station lots, but they all have through tracks. It would be nice to see some kind of central terminal which dead-ends as another option.

Personally, I'm more interested in stuff that you would normally plop yourself, like rewards, civic buildings, parks, etc. I think RCI buildings are cool, but my personal preference is not to plop them but to have them grow by themselves like all the other RCI lots in the game. You have to plop custom RCI lots, right?

Some of my requests could possibly be made with just the lot editor, but many things would look better with new BAT buildings/props. For example:

Aquarium

Theme Park

Naval Base

Railroad Roundhouse (to allow trains to reverse direction - good for UDI)

Ski Resort

Racetrack (2: Car and Horse)

Fishing/Tourist Wharf

Highway Rest Area

I would also like to suggest a BAT Prop Exchange for those who wish to share their BAT props for others to use in lots. (Has this already been suggested?) That way those of us less skilled at gmax could still use the plugin manager and lot editor to create new lots with new buildings (and credit the prop donor, of course).

Big Ben really is a poor substitute for the Peace Tower, if somebody made that(combined with all the old world european buildings that I'm sure are being made at this very moment), we could cobble together our own Canadian Parliament Buildings in the lot editor easily enough.
