I have a request for a 1x1 custom BAT/Lot for my CJ. Plopable and terrain comforming. I will always be using it in the side of a hill. Here is a picture I made in Photoshop of what I need

i had an idea of a crack house or Grove street (san andreas) type building sets, for the bad parts of town, but i dont wont to build them 1) i dont know how, and 2)im lazy, so yeah...(hint: build them for me!)

it would be nice if they were a boost to commerce adn acted as a tourist desination, caused some ground and air pollution (litter and noise), made some income, and it would also be great if all the roads (including the track itself) were transit enabled so peole could take u-drive it cars onto the track and drive around it.

Hello gang, I'm a long time lurker and SC fan, i've been playing for a while and have been working for months on a real world based Philadelphia, PA sim city. Using google maps and windows live local, i've been able to lay streets for Center city, University City, lower northeast , South philly and it is as accurate as the game will allow. My only problem is once I have zoned the streets I have completed, I am in need of BAT's of specific Philadelphia buildings that there are no replacements that can be used on STEX. I plan on uploading the finished product in the form of a CJ. I don't really have the time to actively update a progress based CJ like many of the greats of the forum have. As a matter of fact i can only devote a couple hours a day to the game. I suck at BATting and any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

You know what I realized ? Maxis default low/medium-wealth stage 1 and 2 houses are lame. Like there's a few with two other houses in their back yard... ?!? But the worst is that they're the same in all tile sets !

I find it's easy to make a big city with variety of skycrapers (and I'f you're not happy, there's about 1000 plug-ins you can get off the STEX), but when you want to build a small village and keep it that way, there's no variety of buildings !

So if anyone knows about a house pack I can download, please tell me about them ! Or in anyone wants to make more houses, please go on !

Because seriously, I'm tired of building villages with the same "2 story house" all over the place.

I have a few ideas to put forward:

1. more universities, maybe more modern looking, like the UMIST university ( to all Manchesterians out there (like me))

2. Its about time someone made a new Casino! Im tired of placing the same casino in every city.

3. Holiday Parks, not resorts.

4. A better Space Port. The Maxis one is really bad! There is no proper building in it! And the new Space Port better not be a load of Maxis buildings plopped in.

5. A Business Park. I'm not entirely sure what it actually is but im sure you know.

6. Possibly some goverment buildings, like a Parliment building.

7. A rock concert, maybe with live gigs appearing now and then ( it better be Green Day! )

8. A new road texture, like an avenue without the bit in the middle, or the "classic" american highways seen in the deserts of Nevada and Utah ( err.. i think thats right).

I hope the buildings that follow will be beautifully made by people like Simgoober or Equinox.

I have a major request, I need Philadelphia's City Hall. In a future post I will scan a picture and post it here.  If I knew how to bat, believe me I would gladly make the building and share it with everyone; but since I wouldnt know where to begin I keep dreaming.  For any one living outside the Delaware Valley (Philly), You are probually asking why- whats so special about Philly's City Hall. Well where do I begin? Let me count the ways.  Here I go. First, Its the largest City Hall in the USA.  Its Colossal. It took thirty years to build, thats longer than it took to build the Great Pyramids! From 1870 to 1901 the intersection of Market and Broad was a major contruction zone. Its the tallest functioning masonary structure in the world.. Yes the Washington Monument is taller but its a monument, not a functioning building. Its height is 540 feet to the top of William Penn's hat.  Speaking of the statue of Penn, It also is the largest and highest statue on top of a building in the entire world.  Second, Its visually breathtaking.  Whether you think its beautiful, or as some have called it a decaying mass of stone the building is definetly worth a lot in SC4. Im surprised really that the people at Maxis didnt consider using it as the default city hall in the game.  It is designed in the French Second Empire style, which means it is decked out with arches, peaks, gargoyles and tons of other little eye catching details. Sadly most of these details are to high up for the street level observer to notice but they are there.  Some other things that would look great in the game are the clocks that adorn the tower about 3/4 of the way up. At night they shine a brilliant yellow that can be seen for miles. Also, just installed this year are flood lights that illuminate the entire tower in brilliant white light, its awesome to see.  Theres an inner courtyard that would be visible from all angles in the game, plus there are plazas on the outside of the building on its western front.  If any of you talented BATters out there are interested in the most challenging BAT you  will ever create, let me know.  I will gladly send you all the information needed to make this project a reality.  Trully, to the person who undertakes this project, this will will be your masterpiece. I cant wait to read the replies to this thread.  Until later, everyone have a blessed day!

Hello, I like to much a system of transportation that is used in Bogota Colombia and also in another countrys, was created in curitiba brasil but in Bogota they improved and they adapted  the system, this is the result:

Look its like a metro but with not rails, is on the avenues and with buses.

The bus has a unique way.

Use modern stations and move many people faster.

This is the bus.

I want sothing similar, most important the buses, I don't know if this is very difficult, I can't do somthing like this but I think here some people can do it, if any can help me thank you.

Sorry if this is not a good idea I only want to have this in my cities, not only becuase is cool, also because in many cities including my city are constructing this, is a goood system and looks cool!

I have designed an awesome sunken rail network in my current city and I need a station that will work with sunken rail and will look asthectily correct. My sims can't enjoy the awesome network without a station!

I'm looking for an experienced 'batter' who will be able to design this transport enabled station.

I use smoncrie's lot that is designed to make sunken highways and rail etc.

I use jeronij's Modern Concrete Diagonal Walls

Hi, this is not a request per se, but i'm a little shocked nobody had the idea to make the largest unfinished (and maybe the ugliest) hotel in the world =o  (joking ;P)

Who offers to make a "modern" version of this unfinished building? With some modifications it as potencial to be a pretty huge hotel for our BigHuge cities =D

I was wondering if anyone has, or is willing to make something for me. my idea is to use the divider space on avenues as a place to put elevated rail, or moe likely a monorail. i live in seattle, and this is actually used in real life. the idea would be to keep the avenue to two spaces wide (ive seen diveder addons that mkae avenues 3 wide). at the same time, it would be a lot easier if it was possible to cick and drag to create this. just dragging it over the avenue, instead of plopping each piece. The NAM had the addon where elevated rail goes over roads, but I have to place each piece individually, which takes forever in a large gridded city. Just an idea, hope it works out. thanks guys, you are a lot smarter with this stuff than I am!

I have seen several bus stations on the STEX and even have the greyhound bus skin for busses. But I have not seen any greyhound stations. Can someone maybe do one up or if there is one already send me the  address for it.
