Official BAT Request Thread

Hello All,
I have a BAT request. I have about 100 different building, structures, and home types that are unique to New Orleans that are in desperate need of BATing.

I would really like to see these on the STEX before next Mardis Gras, but I would like some advance BATist to help with the fine tunning of my own and others creations.

I really want a sence of consistency and quality to the work.
 
I created my own thread, but I wanted to come here and make an offical request.
( for Fear that every NDEXer, past and present, would come haunt me like Marley's Ghost)

There is four of us willing to give a go of it, but would like more. I have a shotgun home idea on my thread, but would really like it top notch if it is going on the STEX.

That is my thoughts. ( To save space on the thread, please just PM me how I am not doing this right )

Has been done already. Search for "Library Tower" on the STEX. If you don't find it, it is probably because the STEX isn't working properly yet. In this case, just be patient until the problem is fixed.

I am beginning to start my own ecologic, clean energy... region and i would like a variety of selfsupplying residential lots, they should be old aswell as modern houses whit solar panels on the roof or another energy source. The houses should then be redirected to consume nothing or very little energy. Regards Mr Bichel

The Colloseum has been done by Oppie. It is over at SimCityCentral.net. Oppie was working on making the Pentagon, but I haven't heard anything other than that about it.

As for a boost road, there is the Additional Network Tool (ANT) in the NAM. It carries twice the capacity of a road with two way traffic. It is also faster than the game's highway networks. You can't create a lot that will make traffic go faster and place it on a road. The speeds of the various networks are controlled via an exemplar in the game's files.

Files that are contained in installers can be extracted with a program called FileJuicer. I don't know where to get this program, as I am a PC user.

I will be making threads in the sim mars threads for teams that wish to help out such as BSC and Sym productions I will make one for NDX if they wish to help out. I will make sure anyone who helps out and makes stuff get creadit where creadit belongs. below is a list of bats still needed for the project.

Terraforming Facility: To be used by those who wish to terraform the mars surface to look more like earth.

I'd like to request the Port Authority bus station here in NYC. This is a HUGE building. It's multi-level, w/several subway lines underneath. I think it's about 4 stories above ground. If you've been here to NYC, you'll know how long our blocks are between avenues...this building takes up a block from one avenue to another and two blocks from street to street.  There's a bowling alley inside, over 40 service shops, incl. stores, restaurants, a bank, a drugstore, a post office, many newstands and a large bookstore.  There is a parking lot on top of the building, and there are lanes snaking out at different levels from the back of the building. It serves over 7,200 buses on a typical weekday.  Also, there is is a street that runs through the middle (but it's blocked off from public traffic)...this can be changed to an avenue or highway in SimCity. This is from their website:
"The world's busiest bus terminal in the heart of New York City, the Port Authority Bus Terminal is the region's primary ground transportation facility, and the largest bus terminal in the United States. Opened on December 15, 1950, the Bus Terminal is located one block west of Times Square, occupying the blocks between Eighth and Ninth Avenues, from 40th to 42nd Streets. Here is my request.
      It would be very nice if someone can make a bunch of "new" homes that have small lots (1x1). what I mean by new houses is that you know how in the western states like california, nevada, arizona, etc, home builders make a neihborhood with 2 or 1 story houses in small lots. these neihborhoods offer 4 or 5 models in which a buyer can select. it would be very helpful if these lots were ploppable as well. therefor I can selct 4 or 5 of them to go in one certin neihborhood. I know this would be helpful for others to.

I don't want to geek anyone out too much, but I'm working on a "Superman Themed Region" including Smallville and Metropolis.  There are a few unique buildings that I could use including:

The Talon Coffeshop
The Smallville Ledger
The Kent Farm buildings (although there are many farm buildings that could stand in for that).
LexCorp
The Luthor Mansion

For Metropolis:
Luthorcorp (I know one BAT exists, but I haven't compared it to the original yet)
The Daily Planet

And for a real challenge - The Fortress of Solitude

I would like to request some buildings and mods for my ecological region: Non polluting cars; solar cars hydrogen fuelcell cars... Ecological farms, they should have a health bennefit and course nothing or very little water pollution. Ad last some selfsupplying growable lots both commercial residential and industrial, that would rely on there own power from for instance solar panels on the roof.

As most people know by now, I am putting together a Modular Amusement Park Pack (found here https://www.simtropolis.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=42&threadid=67776&enterthread=y )  For this pack a few new props are needed, including some small service vehicles for the parks.  We need the following...

A police/security golf cart...



A medical/first aid golf cart (gator version)...



A service vehicle/maintenance golf cart...



A rapid response fire engine (mini-pumper)...



For anyone wishing to participate, please drop in to the MAPP thread and give us a shout...we could really use these props to make some of our lots really pop!!
