Could someone make somthing along the lines of a toll booth for me? It wouldn't actually charge money so I wouldn't have a bunch of no job zots. It would be more like an enrance booth to, say, an exlusive neighborhood or something so it has to look as good as you can get it. If you make it so you can put it on roads could you please make it so it can sit on streets too? Thanks! 9.gif

Hey I'm building a los angeles based city in simcity 4 and I want a Bat project, a BAT team to make a lot of los angeles buidlings like a huge project like they did with Portland and Buffalo.
First off I want all the 50 tallest Los angeles buildings you can find at www.emporis.com under the building list to the right. I can't post the link because everytime I post a link now the internet locks up. These all include the Aon Center, the Los Angeles City Hall, the bank of America Tower, the Citigroup Center, all that stuff.
I would also like the Westin bonaventure Hotel near los angeles, i can't find a link lots of pictures.

Churches... A looking over Baltimore, A city isn't complete without 'em. I didn't see any churches in the BAT's list (If they are there, If it is not too much trouble, please let me know where.)

If they aren't, there are a few essential Churches:
Orthodox (it has Bascilica architecture)
Catholic (try gothic, or you could do modern, but it is very tall.)
Baptist/Lutheran (very simple. could be brick or white plaster. Smaller than orthodox/catholic)
Presbyterian (larger- could be stone or brick, more ornate.)
Church of God/Apostolic Churches (it is an ordinary building that has been converted into a church.)

There are others, but these are usually the steeples that dot the skyline.

If you wanted, you could even make monuments out of some of them, like the mormon temple, etc...

Also, don't forget Synagogues and Mosques. I'm not specifically requesting them, but they would be essential to reproducing many cities.

Thanks for your trouble, folks!

Hi,

I would like to see some more Australian buildings, like: Rialto Towers, The MCG and Eureka Tower from Melbourne and Sydney Tower from Sydney. It may seem much, but I really want to use these buildings, if they get made.

Thanks

OK, here's a simple request...

I've seen a few different crosses on the STEX, but they're just not quite right.

Can anyone please design some smaller crosses, perhaps about the size of a windmill (1x2)
The crosses can be quite simple, or more elaborate if you'd like more of a challenge.

Three width=200 border=0>

I think some people would find these crosses might add a nice touch to their cities.
Thanks!  Please PM me if you decide to take on this project.

Hey guys, I've just been looking through some of the BATs posted on this site and there's some great work here. One thing I would like to see in SC4, and I appreciate that this may be a little obscure for some people, is a particle accelerator facility, similar to CERN - maybe as some kind of science park reward for having a high citywide EQ?

I thought it might be a challenge some of the more seasoned BAT'ters would appreciate.

Most particle accelerator facilities are either linear accelerators or circular accelerators (sometimes called Synchrotrons)

I think a Synchrotron ring would be easiest to fit into the game (Some linear accelerators are 1 mile+ long!)

Here's a picture:

<ahttp://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/3/3f/Fermilab.jpg align=baseline>

A synchrotron ring would look something like this - I appreciate it's a low detail shot but it's the best I could find (This is a picture of the Fermilab facility)

Basically it would consist of a building or buildings (the main laboratory facility), and a large concrete circle (Synchrotrons are buried underground, because they produce large amounts of radiation), with small buildings dotted along it's circumference (These are the particle detectors.)

In the game the lot would probably be about the size of the university, possibly a little bigger, and it would only need one ring (The Fermilab site obviously has 2 but this isn't necessary.)

I guess it would offer demand cap relief for I-HT too.

As I said I appreciate it's a big undertaking, but I'd be really happy if someone could have a crack at this.

If anyone needs any info about this or more details about what a particle accelerator would look like from the air, then feel free to drop me a line at cossieslayer(at)hotmail(dot)com.

Cheers!

Hi! This is my first post on this forum. I was wondering if it was possible for someone to make the nationale nederlanden building in Rotterdam. It is the most recognizable sky-scraper in the city, and personally, i think it is kinda cool-looking. I would love to have it in my sim-city.

All relevant information, suchs as jobs, height, size, stories, etc can be found on

Thanks!

i wanted to update my post.

it would be nice if someone could make me Bank of America Houston(700 Louisianna on SC3K), i am no good at making computer art.  thanks for looking, i appreciate it21.gif .  It would be awesome if it had jobs or some RCI affect......Please send me a personal message, it is too hard to find anything on this thread...
ps I'm obsessed with manatees.  it would be cool if there was a replica of SeaWorld or a Manatee Spring or a wildlife park with manatees in it.29.gif
As I said above please PM me if you are going to make one. thanks!1.gif

after looking on the official simcity site and here and after building many cities, i noticed one thing is missing from this game (and my cities)

what about somebody making a RACETRACK!.
yea, i've seen the road race thingy and gocart track, but what about a realistic one?  like the Indionapolis Speedway?
Indianapolis%20Speedway%20Aerial%20View.jpg
IMS_Aerial_468.jpg

or even a realistic drag trqack.

it would also be awesome of they were transit enabled so that you could take a vehicle and drive it around the race track.
overall, they could be huge tourist attractions, and cause mild ground and air polution (litter from the visitors, and noise from the people and cars).

i'd make em myself, but i ain't got the slightest clue on how to make anything for the game.

Here's an idea, technically a request:

These are traditional homes (1890-1920) in the United States. I just decided to post some images to see if any of them or their design features spark an idea for somebody into BATting.
