Hi guys, thanks for the posts, for the record, this is NOT supposed to look like Las Vegas, I just used the name Vegas as it was a cool name that rolled off the tongue. pics will be updated today!

traffic isnt too bad, slightly bad by downtown but thats a given..highways arent really needed yet, im planning on carrying out bus services when money permits..everything really is self contained so I didnt want to build big highways out of the city until they were really needed, i will update soon

meh, its an american city so they developers were able to easily extend the city blocks as it grew, sustainable development went out the window with the developers years ago!

Welcome to Vegas! This is a very fast growing city located in the sun desert. population of the city is approximately 341,107 people. Due to the huge influx of numbers coming to the city, a huge surplus of houses have been zoned in anticipation to reach around 500,000 within the next year or so. The boom in population is largely due to the economic success of the city in recent years which has attracted many multinational companies including the start up of casinos and high quality hotels with dedicated quarters for bars and clubs, making it the ideal location for its 84,000 students, giving it not only the nickname "party city" but also "Student central"! Region before the city. Before and after pic of what the town used to look like, before, it was a small town with much potential.. After, its now one of the fastest growing cities in the contenent with one of the best night life in the world! Vegas Airport Typical traffic building up coming in to the city One of the main avenues leading into Vegas Central Inner City Flats The French Quarter St Pauls Cathedral Famous row of hotels, the closest one is the ritz, followed by the Hilton and the mariott. great spot for students and visitors as its only 10 minutes from the Vegas Central Balcony view from the ritz hotel (first 5* hotel to set up in the city, now used predominantly for stag weekends, people go drinking here before they head downtown for the night. The buzz around the city at night time The Famous Panaromic Restaurant, known locally as "the stiffy in the liffey" (the Liffey being the river it is near, the stiffy..i'll let you figure that one out!) downtown downtown market square you can see from the helicopter ride the vast areas zoned for housing in anticipation to the population boom the downtown area has been zoned around 3 distinctive circular plazas which contain bars, restaurants, clubs, offices tourist attractions and hotels for the many thousands that visit each year. I will post more on the different things to do later on
