Map 2 looks very interesting and very flat (what would make it more easy to build on it) but there are also so many smaller islands, it would be more difficult and of course more interesting 2.gif

Its 3 all the way for me!

Go with 3 because map 2 is being used in the C.J. Klondike Delta...

Its a good C.J.,but we can't have alot of people using one map or can we?11.gif

3!

Yes, I am using map #2 in my cj, but personally I don't mind if you build on the same map. (just try not to make it look too similar.)

Still, I vote for #3.

I vote for number 3, as commercial and residential high-rises could look great surrounding the bay, and there is scenic terrain for lower density developments.

i vote for number 3 also, looks better, you could also use number 2 if you filled in some of the rivers to make it easier.

Thanks! Your insights are very interesting. And I am very VERY happy so many of you already bothered to give your opinion! 17.gif

I cannot keep the vote going on forever though, so here is the deadline: 3.05 AM Simtropolis time (or EST) i.e. 24 hours after I opened the poll.
I will vote last and post the results as soon as I have counted all votes. Till then... Keep going!! 44.gif

PS: As a first-timer I obviously don't know all the rules of Simtropolis and it seems the pics I posted were way too big - I apologize, and I have just edited my first message to post smaller pics 43.gif

CBD (Central & Beautiful District) CHALLENGE!

Some may think it's too soon for another poll. Maybe. But then it is hard to develop cities when you have no idea where you are going. I will create the region and start developing cities today but it would help to have an idea in mind of where I want my main downtown area to be in the future.

You can choose (again) from three different options. Do not forget we are talking about the main business district, not the only one nor the only high-density zone of the city!

Since I will take some time to start playing, you will have 48 hours to decide where you want the most impressive skyline to rise...
The deadline is Friday, 4.30am EST.

The first pics of the newly created region will be available tomorrow. See you then...4.gif

Area 3 seems logical for a beginning area.  With the river allowing the surrounding area to 'feed' the new city.
