Well, since I remember the Bears winning a Superbowl and I don't remember the Colts winning one, I'll root for the Colts, even though Irsay bleeps.

I didn't see a perfect game in any of the playoffs and the mistakes cost in all of them. But then again every one of the games was fought hard and intensely contested by every team.

Yeah, but after our history I had to wait on that one. wheww!!!  Even though I think it would have been classy to have changed the name and let B'more keep it's past, the son is a lot less meaner & spiritually minded than the late father but probably even more competitive! (Irsay not Manning that is!)  Tony Dungy still remains one of the classiest people in all of sports.

Do you realize that because Indy won, I have a 6-4 record for the playoffs this year. 27.gif

That was a spectacular game towards the end though.  Gotta admit it had a bit of a nail-biting finish there in the last minute.

That said, I'll be pulling for Indy in the Super Bowl.

True.  But the whole Ravens thing is working out so it's time to move on.

The son is lot less meaner & spirtually minded?   Well, it's not fair to hold his father's actions against him, is it?   Okay, I'll stop fussing about it.  Go Colts!

haha, -3.

and about HighRiser saying he can't wait for payton manning to carve the bears defense apart, i can't wait for thomas jones and cedric benson to tear up the 4th worst rated rush defense ever and for the bears to pretty much dominate.

I didn't know that the Commissioner could be inducted into the Hall of Fame though. Seems kind of odd.quote>

I knew Monk was good from having watched the old films on ESPN about the Skin's glory days, but wow.

Coaches I can understand, cause without a good coach, the rest of the team is at a disadvantage.  I can kind of understand Commissioner Tagliabue being eligible as everything I've heard about him is rather praise-laden.  It seems to me though that the idea of the Hall of Fame is reserved for people who have had a big impact on the game as in on the field rather than up in the administrative boxes.  I know that Tagliabue served as an NFL lawyer for a while, but did he ever actually play in the NFL? 42.gif

Monk was very impressive. I just cannot see how he has not made it  in 6 years.

But  then again there are several Cowboys from the 70s teams who should be in but are not.

Bears are going to win. Oddly though, you would think that a revolver would win against a bear.

yea

They should have taken  Monk over Thurman Thomase specialy since they

pointed out one of the resaons monk was not considered was that monk didnt

do much stat wise in  Super Bowls... Are they kidding?

Thomas was the Poster Boy of  having crappy Super Bowls.

Sigh, I guess Self promotion  gets the gears rolling in this thing. 28.gif

Looks like my prediction that the Bears would win is wrong. (Though, I'm hoping the 'Texans' would win someday. 3.gif )

However... I do have one last prediction.

Joe is going to be very excited! LOL! 3.gif
