Hey all, lovely pictures

I haven't posted in a while, so here's one of me in a cute little shop that I went to about a month or two ago...

I walk in and this huge, and I mean, absolutely enormous dog runs over to me. Friendliest dog in the world. His name was Dylan, and I needed to take a picture with him

He kept sitting on my feet, and every time I would try to get them from underneath him and step aside, he'd just move with me and sit on my feet again. That's why I was cracking up in the photo.

Well, im gonna finally show my visage on Simtropolis. Im the one with the white Thawb on. The other people in the photo are my aunt and brother. Im afraid that this is the best pic i could find, this was with my grandfathers camera, and i don't have my own  (yet)

well, thats acutally standard operating proceedure while on base (where I was in that pic). your weapon was unloaded with a magazine handy. the only time you lock and load is when you're about to go "outside the wire" or if you were base security forces, which I was not.

That's what I thought at first, too.  But when I thought about it more, I realized that I can't use that excuse, because unlike you, I just ain't coo' .  Therefore:

This is the most recent picture of myself.  Taken by my sister in her workplace (she works in the admissions office at Tech, where I go to school...it takes approx. 48 seconds to walk from my dorm to her office).

Taken in a tea shop near the First Colony Mall in Sugar Land (a.k.a. Houston), TX.  Weird.

Same tea shop, same day, much better picture IMO.  The girl on the left is a really good friend of mine, and the girl in the middle is her little sister.

There you go.  And just to let you know, I'm not paying for your corrective eye surgery.  You shouldn't have looked .

Rather a play on the western way of looking at people dressed like nazaguy: they wear the same clothing, sit in those deep chairs and drinking tea while they talk of their new developments, where to spend the next billions or how their country is going to modernise even more (though today it's often because some guy in Dubai decides to break another record for largest this, largest that). And most of them are called "Sheik" unless they just got home from that American university. Works well when I try to convey how poor I am: "If my first name was Sheik, I would rather have preferred to live in a nice apartement in (insert nice part of town) than in my one college room in the ghetto far from the city, the school, etc".

But I don't think it means anything else than that your the head of the family, the family business or things like that. The Sheik in my neighbourhood had most certainly not a private jet fleet at the airport, or a world class yacht, but rather dressed in suit and tie and worked his ass of most of the week like every other lawyer I know (I know they have stupid schedules, but nonetheless aiming to be something similar )

Wow, that's a really nice guitar. Very clean for being white. I wish I could say the same about mine .. There are pick scratches everywhere on the pick guard from all my overstrums.
