Looks great! Now, if it would be possible to include a canal bottom textute piece, we could have LA style canals! Keep up the good work!

SC4, Forevermore!

Currently preoccupied with architecture school...lurking with caution.

    Oh, so greatfull comments here! :} Thanks :}
    To DuskTrooper: What do you mean by this bottom texture? I've never seen LA canals :}

    To The Monkeys Unlce: You've said that 2.gif

    To JEC: Well i'm really glad. I hope i will finish it soon.

    And here some new stuff:

    I've created a segment for this kind of angle:

    <ahttp://www.seagraves.nm.ru/showcase/emb008.jpg align=baseline>

    Here it is:

    <ahttp://www.seagraves.nm.ru/showcase/emb009.jpg align=baseline>

    As you can see, it's a 1x2 lot wit extended embankment prop. This will allow to plop something into these free tiles near the fence. For examp: a hole filler:

    <ahttp://www.seagraves.nm.ru/showcase/emb010.jpg align=baseline>

    Or place some 1x1 growables on these tiles:

    *drooling* oh man!! This LOOKS SOO AWESOME!!! my skyscraper filled mini-islands will look like they come out of the water after this!..no more skyscraper-green embankment! And, wow! i dint even think of the 2-tiles for the bridges! (see thats why you make cool bats.. and I,...well.. lets not get into it)

    oh, by the way, where did you get those filler lots for the diagonal part.

    Keep up the awesome work!!!

    To Gecks_II: Well, of course, we have two tiles wide bridges like avenue or highway, in this case corresponding segment is also needed :}
    And this 1x1 grass filler will come with this set, whet it will be ready.

    By the way.. i think that this feature will be optional. Users will able to install this set with, or without filler lot. Cause i'm sure, there is some users who already has grass lots like this :}

    To Jeronij: Hey Jeroni, i know about this set, and i really love it:} I will use it in my next Eladremme update, when it will come :}
    Oh, my park menu is overloaded too :} That's why i think about to place this set to the water transport menu, where the ferries are.

    To Sepsis: Of course! :} right angle corners (internal/external) also will be created :} And i think it's too early to talk about testing :} I need to finish all the segments we need.

    49.gifTo All: The question about menu. I know that we all have park menus loaded with heaps of lots.. What if to place this set in the water transport menu (where the ferries and seaports are)?

    Hi marrast,

    This is a very good idea. It will simplify its use.3.gif
    Could it be posible to have them organized like the intersections in NAM are?.  I mean, only a position in the items list, and use tab key to choose the needed lot.

    Could you or someone point me to where I can find more info on this posibility??

    PD: I have visited Eladremme, and this is an exquisite CJ you have there!!!.  I must say I have seen some very good ideas in there.44.gif

    No, this isn't possible. This feature is defined by the RULs, and DOES NOT work with lots.

    You may say, what about the tollbooths that use 1 icon?

    Unfortunately, we are at a loss as to how this works. It's most likely defined in the EXE, which means we can't do it.

    Marrast, I've got a question for you. Did you create a grass texture from the diagonal roads? I've noticed this in your CJs, and so I made my own texture in Photoshop.

    To Ardecila: No, no. This grass texture is already ingame. You can find it in LE. But it only appears at two wealth levels: 0x00 (no wealth) and 0x01 (low wealth). At 0x02 and 0x03 this texture becomes unlike to diagonal road grass texture. When you have your lot finished, change its wealth level to 0x00. It will allow you to have this texture ingame and your roads still will looks like medium wealth ones.

    Oh, I see.  I thought I looked through all the LE grass textures.  Maybe I missed one.

    Like I said,  I ended up taking the texture from the road textures.  It looks very good the way I did it, so I'll keep it that way.  I'm plopping the new grass lots all over the place now.  It's addictive. 18.gif

    I love your walls, Marrast.  A big problem with the RTK is that it can't go under bridges.  Now, yours can.  I have the perfect use for these pieces somewhere...

    *Gets emotional alongside Gecks_II* 44.gif This is bloody amazing! Who would've thought anyone would've managed to solve the problem of not being able to create underbridge segments!

    As for testing, I have an interesting city that could definitely use this set.. This is a map of the city. It's based on those Vauban style fortresses/cities in France, the Netherlands, etc. The problem is that PEG's River Tool Kit doesn't work here, because the angles are not set against eachother at a 90 degree angle, but at multiple angles.. Your set will definitely solve that problem for good!

    Take a look at this screenshot..

    To Ardecila: Oh, yeah, plopping grass lots is very addictive :}

    To Jarnomiedema: OMG47.gif Well i hope this set will work there :}

    Some new stuff. All the angle segments are finished!

    <ahttp://www.seagraves.nm.ru/showcase/emb015.jpg align=baseline>

    <ahttp://www.seagraves.nm.ru/showcase/emb016.jpg align=baseline>

    Now i need to create something like a segment with a descent to the water, start and end piece. After all this, there will be needed to solve all the lot properties and menu issues.

    Oh my, this is such nice work!

    ( I could have sworn I responded to this earlier... perhalps something happened)
    As I meant to say earlier, I had all but given up on a project, in part due to the lack of a diagonal canal tool set.
    Seeing these pics of your progress has given me renewed enthusiasm!
    thank you

    Awesome ! This is about to replace Peg's RTK2 that I'm still using. The best is that it is plain enough to be placed in every style of neighboorhood. 10.gif Thus in fact reducing the amount of lots ! (Well at least for me.48.gif)

    BTW I see  the new 49.gif smilie has become a sensation. Your all using it!3.gif

    Guys, i have a question.. Look here:

    emb008.jpg

    The question is about start/end piece. What you think, is it really needed?
    I mean, want you to have four lots more in this set? :}

    If it's not, i can upload a BETA version in a few hours later for testing =:}

    I have to be honest with you, as anxious as I am to see this in game, I really would like the end pieces.
    It's not an absolute nessesity, though.

    Lovely work, btw
