hey!

very impressive work here.

but i got one little question on the 101 you've just done:

in the zoning data view, it looks like it shows even the puplic buildings.

does it jult look like or are they really shown?

and if so, are they handpainted or are they really on the map?

i'm asking cause i've done something similar on my old cj, and i had to paint every public building onto the map cause there's no map showing them...

I loke all the coastal pics.

but these orange boats... or whatever it is, looks strange.

have they turned around or something? they look like upside down to me..

anyway, can't wait to see more

Ha, I missed that whole crazy unnecessary intersection thing! Funny thing is, if there actually was a lot of traffic, something like 133.7 would actually be really nice. 4.gif

Wow, the intersection tutorial was one of your best yet. And I have a sneaking suspicision from the last two updates that your are a better and more serious city builder than you let on. 16.gif

    Update Number Twenty Nine

This is the second to last update in my hugely successful "Thirty Updates on One Page". I am also coming to the end of the city of Bitter Wood Inlet. I will have a small week long vacation in Fall River, MA then on to the next city to the west of Root Delta. I hope this does not break anything but I think it is time to have one of those really skinny but unnecessarily long mosaics.

wow, great idea on the picture, it looks like one huge shot

that intersection a few updates ago is hilarious and really shows that no matter what you do the sims still insist on taking the way you dont want them to take

your coastal areas are excellent and use of tunnels is perfect

    Update Number Thirty

Finally to finish up the great "Thirty Updates on One Page" campaign here is a full mosaic of Bitter Wood Inlet, the powerhouse of industry in the Pumba society.

This concludes all the updates that I had previously created. Now I have to think about where to go from here. I have the next city to the west of Root Delta to build and it will be different than the other two cities but still have the same Pumba style; dense jungle, factories and houses packed together, watchtowers, massive buildings and clock towers, etc. I have some pictures snapped but no updates ready. I might take the CJ in the direction of a story as I have not really done a story ark. It is a type of CJ I have yet to poke at gently. I mean emulate in the highest regard, right? I have the pictures so it would be a shame to not use them.

No matter what I do I know I will show off all those Bats/lots that so may people have toiled over. Without those creations most of what you see in this CJ would not have been possible, so I say a hearty Pumba thank you for your dedication.

Now lets open up the phones for a bit and see what people think as I know there are lurkers out there just waiting to chime in.

The mosaic was incredible. The regional photo is pretty cool, but it seemed like it was missing a few buildings even though it wasn't.

I love the harbor. 'The Daily Napkin' had to have been the shortest one I've ever witnessed. haha. Great job!

    The pictures look great, mtbrocket.

Though, it'll be a shame to see this CJ go on a break [i know you need it, after writing 30 updates...!]. Hopefully, you get more creative ideas while you're on holiday.
