    Hi all! Welcome back to Botania! Well, this update features the city of Mayfair. However, let's look at the newspaper cutting of Botania Times, published yesterday morning:

    @sloppet: Gotcha! You said this twice. Well, what makes you hate the name? I am sort of interested to know. Anyway, thanks for dropping by! 9.gif

    @GMT: Thanks dude! I apologise for the lack of information... so I've posted this update to clarify some issues about the construction of several low wealth high density aparments.

    @markmass: Hey, thanks a lot for your encouragement! Hope to see you around.

    @bat: Thanks for your compliment!

    Excellent region view, I wish I had made my region that big... I wasn't really expecting for it to be successful... Mayfair Central Park looks awsome as well, with the waterfalls and bridges. Brilliant!

    @magpieshooter: You can actually increase your region size as much as you like. You can download landscape editor and edit the config.bmp of your region (downloadable at https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?page=1&keyword=landscape%20designer&type=all). 5.gif

    @jacqulina: Thanks for dropping by and for your compliment! 9.gif

    Thanks everyone for being so supportive! I am really apologetic about putting this CJ to a temporary halt for a week or so because I have some problems juggling SC4RH and school work. This is my last resort because I can't continue staying up doing homework till 4am in the morning and then wake upat 5.30am to go the school. 14.gif But don't worry, because after the tests next week I'll have enough time to release updates 9.gif

    @bat: Thanks a lot!

    @sloppet: Yup! I will try my best to make up all the disappointments and inconveniences caused by releasing a really good update. Hope to have you read it and enjoy it 2.gif

    @CDI_spy: Thanks a lot for your compliment! I willsurely release an update in a week or so... sorry to keep you waiting!

    @magpieshooter: Yup! Thanks a lot for your encouragement 5.gif

    @jacqulina: Thanks a lot!

    @patfirefghtr: Don't worry! I will iron out my academic wrinkles and then return to Simtrop CJ section in a week's time 3.gif

    Thanks a lot for everyone to be so concerned... I am so touched! I promise I will make a big goood update for you all! 19.gif

    Hey folks! Botania is still on hold because of my busy schedule, but then I was able to dig out some time from the schedule and make up a little sneak peek on what is going on in Botania. Over the weekend there was intensive mugging for Biology thanks to the oncoming lecture test, but then I managed to keep myself awake till 4am to do some touch ups of the region.

    Presenting you Botania's second sneak peek episode. The city featured shall not be named... not to spoil the next few updates from next week onwards. 5.gif

    cratercitybotaniamayorted15sy.jpg

    cratercitybotaniamayorted27cc.jpg

    cratercitybotaniamayorted32il.jpg

    Well, if I have a little bit of free time I might release a few more sneak peek episodes...

    botaniamayortedpr5no.jpg

    @jacqulina: Sorry Jacqulina looks like you'll have to bear with sneak peeks for the next 7 days since I am super busy. Sorry! Proper updates will be posted from next week onwards. I apologise for this lapse. 45.gif

    @Fabiocb: Thanks a lot for your support! Yup, I used the Region Census to make the region view. Last time I use photoshop to photomerge several screenshots of the region which is a big hassle... thanks to region census I am able to get a whole view just in a few clicks 4.gif

    Again, Botania is not dead! 9.gif Just being a little dormant for the next 7 days...

    Hi there! Well, a few more tests to go and Botania will be back very soon, hopefully this weekend if the lecturers don't announce any new tests before the weekend begins 9.gif My hands are itching to play Simcity4... hehe, just a few more days!

    Presenting you sneak peek #3 from Botania. Again, the name of the city will not be announced until the real update begins! 5.gif Hmm, the city is built on quite a mountanous terrain, so a little trick is needed to make roads wind up to the top, especially when you have the slope mod installed.

    botaniamayortedpr5no.jpg

    @sloppet: Thanks sloppet! Well, in fact I missed the old you... I sort of like your sarcasm 22.gif <--- and this smiley

    @ThomasAH: Sorry to disappoint you! Rest assured that Botania will be back in a few days time! Lol, special thanks to the filter effets by photoshop... if not mistaken they're calle crystallise under the pixellate menu.

    @Magpieshooter: Thanks! Hope you've enjoyed viewing the pictures...

    @patfirefhtr: Thanks a lot for your compliment! Yup, school work is priority... but during weekend CJ becomes the top on the priority list (unless there is some MAJOR exams...)

    @wouanagaine: Don't worry! And never say sorry for not reading for some time... 5.gif as long as you like this CJ, I'm happy!

    @GMT: Thanks a lot!  Now in this sneak peek more pictures are shown, and being blurred with another filter called motion blur 3.gif

    Thanks for commenting! 9.gif Botania will be back soon.

    @wouanagaine: Well, it isn't really hard to build roads against the hill, but what makes it challenging is when you're using the Slope Mod. So you really need to create those curved roads and bankings as the road climbs... 18.gif

    @GMT: Thanks for commenting again! The new update will be out very soon! Rest assured 1.gif

    Thanks for all your continuous support! 5.gif The new updates will be out soon!

    A warm welcome back to Botania! I sincerely apologise for this CJ for being relatively dormant over the past week due to overwhelming workload... now, all the tests are gone and I'm free! More time for updates and expanding my region 9.gif

    In this update we'll be looking at how Crater City came about. If you observe carefully, there is this ugly scar left by some asteroid impact on the center top of the region. That's where Crater City is located.

    cratercitybotaniamayorted36th.jpg

    cratercitybotaniamayorted47mg.jpg

    cratercitybotaniamayorted52xn.jpg

    In the next update: Crater City develops into a bustling rural town! 18.gif

    botaniamayortedpr5no.jpg

    @Fabiocb: Thanks dude! You can expect to see more of such roads in future updates!
