Simtropolis 2006 Technology Upgrade

maybe you guys should think about avoiding IdealBB. its not like its worked that well here, and what i've everyone else who uses it has problems too.

So... does this mean Simtropolis 5.0 is coming? Or will it just be 4.1?

Is the simtropolis store still around? If it is, I have a few Ideas:

 

1) Simtropolis hoodies- I could go for one of those!

2) Some more t-shirt ideas:

    -one that says official poaster (and simtropolis.com smaller underneath that)

    -one that says official cyber kid (same)

    -one that says official knave (same)

    -one that says NAM it! (ditto)

    -one that says screw dictators, get me a dirktator! (or something along those lines)

    -one that says still developing the game years after its release

    -one that says don't worry, our llamas don't spit

Also I am simply GIDDY you are leaning toward a .NET forum system. I've been working in .NET now for 4 years. I'm thinking a STEX webservice with a simple windows client to browse, comment, rate, and download, taking much load off the servers to serve stex content. I'm hoping the backend is SQL Server...

.net and .com are domain abbreviations

For those of you guys who are in my column and have parents...let me remind you not to fight and nag with your parents over this...it is very logical for any parent not to want you to give money to some 'random' place...It makes sense...Just don't cause trouble...it isn't a good idea...A no is a no...accept that.

I will say thought that there are a lot of scholarships available...and thanks to everyone offering them! If parents say no the go to the sponsors...

I have no otherway to donate even though I would love to help keep this place running. This site is my home away from home as well and my only escape from real life as well.
