Cwell... here it has been 2 years at ST 1 1/2 years of BATing [or at least trying] on and off... well mostly off... but o well...

ive already released one of my abominations and since that went ok i'd thought i'd make a thread to show how terrible i really am lol

here is a commerical building that is may latest project...

hope you guys dont laugh too hard and give me some tips!

@ vid well the main part is 219m... but i added the top to it and that makes it about... um...

234m so far

but i was only expecting a 150m one for this lol

although i wasnt ever excepting to do anything above 100m for awhile...

Hope you have a good amount of RAM. I never build anything over 150m that is highly detailed. It takes time, but you'll be a great BAT'er eventually. I've been BATing for nearly a year, and I still sorta suck.

hm... first attempt didnt get through...

nice work TMS!  i like the shape and the height.  not too many buildings that are that tall.  most are waay shorter or waay taller.  this is definitely not noobish.  keep up the good work

I think this looks really good! I like the shape and there appears to be quite a fair amount of detail in the model. Can't wait to see how this one progresses!

TMS! you started a BAT Showcase!
Seems your learning quite quickly! I would just maybe make the building a little thinner, it's kinda bulky right now.

well id thought id show the work that im doing right now...



i made it a smaller building and now its about 188m tall without the little spire i made and about 200m with it is so its still a medium sized skyscraper...

it is also down from a 5x5 lot to a 4x4 lot... yes even i was thinking that was big but thanks to Superstar the ease of making it smaller was realized lol

If that's n00bish, then what I can make doesn't deserve a word.

I like the addition of the spire, it makes it seem more like a towering skyscraper even if it isn't the building in one's city.

This is off to a good start, I think the colour of the textures are the best now not too dark
a couple of suggestions (feel free to ignore ) maybe some (cant think of the fancy word) but lines going down the side maybe? but not as bold as the ones going horizontally.
also maybe stretching the top crown of the skyscraper
anyway this is good progress and I concur with SS this looks like its on the right track
