bobinator: Thanx for your positive comments. I'm glad you like it.
rewright: Thanks a lot. That wasn't that difficult. I wish I had the ability to build such scenic cities as you have... 1.gif

After going back in time, we're back in good old 2005. City Tour part 3, enjoy.

All right, someone seems to have too much spare time. And I'm not talkin' about me...

    grapurple1bi.jpg
One of the proposed measures is the extension of the city's rapid transit network (RTN). Besides, city officials consider to build another police station, a medical facility and a library. City parks and green spaces will keep the small town feel of this quarter.

Thank y'all for your numerous comments.

    REPLIES
ar3man: Thanx for the good comments. I'm glad you like my graphics too. Actually, this CJ is set in the year 2005. I'm going back in time from time to time though and the 70s are an important period in the city's history. Talking about the credits: I don't have that much files in my Plugins folder, so I know which buildings may appear. While saving the file, I usually add the creator's name to the .zip-file name) and there's still the STEX, where you can find out.
MrCinatit: I always admired your work. And now, I'm glad you like my work. Thanx for the compliment.
bobinator: Thank you too. Well, the newspaper took me about five or ten minutes to make... not that much to write but it tells everything you have to know - that's effective.
juantrev: Of course, there will be problematic parts and I'll show them... later. Since I'm still workin' on the city, some parts aren't ready yet. But as soon as they are, I'll post them. The uneployment in Westside District has improved, as you can see in the following update.

    - Phil

    INTERLUDE: WESTSIDE DISTRICT NEIGHBORHOODS
It's been a while since the last state of the city address. Mayor Harding pointed out his latest success with the emprovement of unemployment. There are enough jobs in the city and the metropolitan area. The next step is to increase the average income for example with HT industry. At the moment, Westside District offers the best paid jobs in the region.

    Hey Phil,

Wow!  I love how you made the transit authority expansion map!  It reminds me of the maps they had in Washington, D.C. when they expanded the subway lines! Also, the news reports are very realistic; they build a history for the CJ, getting you right into the action!

    Keep it up!44.gif

I like it too. Looks very authentic, like something you would see from a mobility authority. I like the newspaper articles as well, looks like you put a good deal of effort into 'em.

    PERSONAL REPLIES

oroen: Thank you. I guess I'm gonna keep that for later updates
debueno: Actually I was inspired by the Metro (that was before I downloaded the Metro set by bigredfish). Thanks.
Compromise: Welcome to Simtropolis. I'm glad you like my CJ.
LakeTrash311: Thank you for your comment. You're right, it took me awhile to do these newspaper articles.

I'm glad you all liked that transit authority map. There will be another one maybe with the blue line already on it.

    CITY STORIES: IN THE NEWS

The Westside District City Tour ends here. But there will be updates from time to time. And there is still the unsolved Bellavista arson case...

What would you like to see next?
There are two offers in the travel agency's brochure (you can find a region map on page one of this CJ):

    A. Acorn Creek's Fort Hunter and Portstown Districts
    B. Three Mills, a charming farming town in the city's south.
