  4. Twin Harbour Region

Yea, the trees look a lot better from when I first commented on them. The park area looks more natural now. Love seeing your city develop.
  5. Athens 2004 Olympic Stadium

Looks really good. I'm expecting it to look good in a city as well!
  6. Ocean Point

I love me some subrubia.... great job with the realisticly suburban feel. Love the strip of commercial in there too...
  7. Anduin Valley Revisited

Love the updates, as usual. Couple of things, where did those stairs come from on the concrete hillside things (dunno the name)? Love the pics of the parks. Different idea setting it back a little with pedestrian walkways, but love it even better! Love the pedestrian walkways through your latest updates. I have been obsessing over people who show that walking is an acceptable way for sims to move. Thanks for giving me my fix!
  8. I love the suburban feel of your single family homes. Especially with the seasonal trees. Love the progress...
  9. Adventures In New Urbanism --- A Journal

Date: 12/15/2004 3:38:32 PM Author: UrbanLegend Why do they have to go to Best Buy? Wouldn't a local electronics store down on the corner work just as well? One really cool part of Los Angeles, in neighborhood between downtown and Beverly Hills, large retail chains lined the street. There was one Office Depot I always went to had their storefront right on the city street. Parking, since space is a premium in LA, was in the rear and on top of the building. A small ramp on the side led to the rooftop, and an elevator took customers from the parking garage to the inside of the store. Weird design I thought at first, but actually really worked for a crowded city like LA. Louisville- a couple of things... 1. First off, awesome design and layout of the cities. I will really keep that layout in mind for commercial and residential areas. I've always had problems with people complaining about long commute times. This design is a great idea, and an obvious one. I just couldn't think it out. Yea I know, I am an idiot. 2. Were did you get those pedestrian plazas? I didn't know that people could walk across them. In all my cities I prefer people walk or take public transportation, but, like I said, I have commute problems. 3. Finally, were did you get those walkways outlying all your parks? It looks really good and seperated from the rest of the area. Keep up the nice work!
  10. Caspen 2: New Waverly Revisited

I like the shopping complex more now. Less slopes are a little more realistic. Plus, I wouldn't want to walk up that slope in the first pick with Kohl's. I wouldn't mind so much in the new one.
  11. is the gated community by toll? very realistic... i likey
  12. Thistlewood

updates come, like oroen said in a different CJ, after school things. Good update. -on a side note, should benjamins become a universal way of saying making money? or is that pushing American culture too much?
  13. Twin Harbour Region

Love the Embassy District. Very realistic there. Love the pics, as always. But I have one question. Near Federal Park Stadium, is that a dense forest of trees???? Looks blocky with that ariel shot. Thats just my opinion though.
  14. Acorn Creek Region - An American Story
