Hey gang!


My name is Rob and I am a university student at the University of Calgary, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Calgary is a city of about 1 million, and with surrounding area exceeds that number. Currently working towards my degree in Urban Studies (city design/social issues), which I will follow up with my M Arch, perhaps specializing in community design and skyscrapers/highrises. Really love what I do, and can't wait to finish school and get to tackle city stuff head on! I work part time at an insurance brokerage.

I am a fresh graduate of Interior Design. I live in Western city of Ahmedabad in India. I have just started working at an architect's office in my city. right now i am working on a project of building R$$$ buildings!!!

I know CAD and 3D Max but i have never got the hang of GMAX or BATTING or MODDING or LOTTING. i dont know why i hate all this why i can use max for almost all of its capabilities, including animation modelling etc.

I have some modelled buildings with me, so any BATTERS interested PM me.

I have played all the SC games right from SC classic to SC4 and SC3 was my favorite.

Hello.  I'm 52 , female, married for 33 years, have a 32-year-old son and and a 7-year-old granddaughter.  Living currently in Fredericksburg, Virginia, but spent a number of years in L.A. and in St. Pete FL.  If I had a choice, I'd be living in San Francisco now.

I was in the I.T. industry for over 30 years and finally had enough, so I retired a few years ago.  Since that time, I've been writing, sculpting, doing web development, and basically just whatever makes me happy.  What a life! 

 

SimCity came into my life with the original video game version, and my husband and I have been hooked ever since.  Other games have come and gone, now lying dusty on my shelves, but SimCity endures.....

Hey yall!

I'm from the hills of Tennessee. Livingston that is. Overton county.  Been shooting for some food.  I come up bubblin' and crude.  LOL.  Great site, I've been a downloading fool for about a week now.  Worked so hard at modding out SC4 that I finnally got it to crash all the time.  So... reinstall and go a bit slower.  Maybe find out what I doing instead of jump in head first.  You know get my feet a little wet first.  But it's so much fun and I've have nothing else to do, because I don't do anything.  To answer the first question.  I have been retired (read disability) for a little over a year and with the back pay I got all new furniture but most importantly I upgraded the old 586 (333mhz) with 256meg of ram and a 4 meg ati rage to a AMD Athlon XP 3000+ with a gig of ram and a 256meg 9600XT Radeon.  Never had time to play games before but I'm hooked now.  Ran SC 3000 till it was boring and upgrade to SC4.  It's a lot harder.  But I've only just begun!  Spend tommorrow getting those plugins right and maybe not use the kitchen sink this time.

I am 17 and live in TORONTO !?! ive been stuck in sim city land from the days of playing sc2000 on the old school mac in the 1st grade classroom which was the only one i was ever able to edit buildings for... I go to school and work at a store owned by my parents... dosent leave that much time for sim city but thats what the summer in toronto is for  too damn hot for anything else

Hi from Indiana. I live in a rather large town near Indianapolis called Fishers. I'm 11 years old and like to build computers, program HTML and JavaScript, and of course play computer games. Specifically Sims. Dont get me wrong i do like to ride bikes and do other athletic things. (Just so you know im not a bum.) My favorite movies are in the comedy and war genres. My name is Mike Foster, and I live the fine city of Madison, Wisconsin.  I am 21 and am a student at UW.  I have been playing since Sim City Classic, and have been lurking on this site for the past few months. Maybe someday I will gain the motivation to start a city journal, or post stuff, or something, but lurking is kinda fun  I have also found that turning Sim City into a drinking game is way fun, i mean, hey, im from Wisconsin, and who doesnt enjoy drunk city planning, its probably the most realistic that way anyway  thats all i got for the moment, keep building and keep it real.

I still play simcity and love to various things.

My name is Dana.  I'm 42 and live in the Dayton Ohio area.  I was a police officer for many years, but had to retire due to a knee injury.  So I returned to college and have been plugging away at a BS in Computer Engineering.  If everything goes according to plan I'll be back in the real world in about a year.

I'm Cindy.  I'm 52, retired after 30 years in the Information Technology industry.  Married, a 32-year-old son and a 7-year-old granddaughter.  I currently live in Virginia in the DC suburbs, but have also lived in Los Angeles and in the Tampa/St. Petersburg FL area.

 

Most of my time is spent on sculpting, writing, painting, etc. - when I'm not playing SimCity.  My game preferences are simulations and city-building.  I also do every quiz I can find on the Internet.
