I still have SC4RH installed, but mainly for the younger siblings; I simply don't have the time anymore (especially considering it can take upwards of fifteen minutes to start the game and load a city fully plugged in). But CJs like yours, and TheJerseyDevil's, and mrbisonm's and RagnaRocks' and mexicanboy's and pcsurgeon's and a slew of others that I cannot remember, keep my interest in this site alive, and keep me coming.

Hello Jeroni

Rereading your CJ for the umptieth time, I've noticed in your picture --7.7- UNIVERSITY SPORTS AREA-- 2 small football fields and I can't find them on the STEX would you be so kind as to tell us where you found them?

Thanks!

P.S. Your city and your methods have inspired me so much that I'm trying them now, perhaps in a near future I could post a new city of my own. Thanks for the ideas... :-)

    Hi there,

In my last post, I was talking about some original Maxis Lots, that in my opinion are little wonders. And to reconfirm my opinion, this is an extra quick view to the future of Columbia River.

    The Landmark is Neuschwanstein Castle.

    Very Inspiring!! 4.gif

The colorful trees, are those customized or are they already in the game. I love those type of trees. And the seawalls are cool. I'm getting those too.18.gif

Good job jeronij! can't wait for the next update.

I wish I'd discovered this journal earlier.  Really amazing work sculpting the terrain with those instructive retaining wall thingies (what are they called?).  Also very nice way to build roads, highways, ports and tunnels.   I am inspired, I'll come back and look at your earlier updates more closely, there's a lot to learn here!

I know I haven't posted in awhile, but your CJ continues to amaze me.

And, I thought I might be able to lend a little help.

I did an online translation for Paseo Maritimo. Paseo means, generally, walk/stroll. Maritimo will not translate (probably an accent missing or something), but since it looks like a cognate (cognado) I believe it basically means maritime, which would be consistent with it being right on the shore.

So, basically what I'm getting at is, I think Paseo Maritimo roughly translates to Maritime Walkway or Shoreside Stroll or something along those lines.

Anyway... I have to say it again. Great CJ.

You must have a ton of patience. Not only building cities but also downloading mods. Anyway, your city looks awesome and you explain things very well.

Keep up the good work! 44.gif

    Yeay jeronij!
Nice CJ you have there, nice how you do your citys piece for piece and make everything look so outstanding as it does now.
And yeah if you have played SC4RH for a while and downloaded tons of nice stuff the game and citys take ages to load! hehe but they look better, it's totally worth it!
heh just found out that my SC4 folder in /mydockuments/ takes up 1.63GB, think thats kinda much, and the plugins folder is alone almost 1GB! hehe lol

Hi all! Long time reader, first time poster! I've been a member here for about a year, and most of my time has been spent learning the game from the other forums. I have only lightly tread into the CJs before and so I had no idea what I've been missing. This CJ has completely blown me away. I can't wait to wade through others.

Jeroni, you have done an incredible job! [:0] Inspirational! 29.gif Nothing I have done so far compares, and I'm not sure anything in the future would either. Maybe now that I know what can be accomplished with this game I can work toward more realistic cities and start my own CJ.
