    Hi there,

For some unknown reason, after the last ST servers moving, the link in my signature was corrupted 22.gif
Since this server movement, I get constantly error messages when I make a search here in the forums, or in most active section. Does it happen to somebody else ???

The link is fixed now, Sorry for the inconveniences.34.gif

    The link itself:
    https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/view.asp?topicID=44972

And thanks for your comments !!! 44.gif

    Hi jeronij!

If you talking about the 'there is something wrong with the input URL' error on the search page, have a look at the Testing 1.5.3 beta 2 thread. eddiem and I explained a workaround.

    Keep up with your CJ!

    Hi Bean,

Thanks for your useful link. This is exactly the problem I have, and there is also exactly the temporary solution I found too.

I hope it will be fixed soon. It a unusual bug in a always quite good working website.15.gif

And I am testing your OceanRiver Mod in Columbia River. I have make some tests with the rain tool but it doesn`t look so good at the sides of the water.I dont mind it at all9.gif. I know it is still in beta version, and maybe it is not designed for this type of water. . With normal water looks OUTSTANDING !!!29.gif46.gif
I will love to see the definitive version 44.gif

Merci beaucoup pour le link. 2.gif

This is excellent. It has something of the feel of Hong Kong without all the commie blocks and talls. 22.gif

Very good work, keep it up.

    Hi Jeroni,

One thing, among others, about your work is that you never seem to loose focus. There is a continuity that I admire, and I know for a fact that this is not easy even in just one city and more so in an entire region! And to be so constant with the attention for details, for example looking at your picture 23.3 we can see that even underwater the rock look nice and does not have any unnatural angles.

Those are things that I still struggle with, and even if I like your seawalls, I have still to master their use. Mainly when it comes to irregular shapes like the inner corner. But I must say that the final results always (well almost) makes me proud !

Well that's it for now, go back to your game and astonish us!

Still looking amazing! I like the south bank in Port de Soller. That Bridge must have taken hours of labour!
I've been trying to keep up with this CJ, but unfortunatly my Janurary exams were keeping me away. I love the fact that you almost have daily updates. This is the reason I stuck with this CJ. I LOVE your work and please, keep up that extraordanary work!!!

    Masterful, as always.

I love the harbor area there and how the marina boats have to go under the bridge to get out to the river.

If I had a boat, I would keep it in a marina just like that 1.gif.

Nice work, and keep it up.

Whoa! jeronij, these past updates have been astounding! I have swiftly read through them, and I will try to read up on your terraforming lessons when I have the time. They look very well done! I must congratulate you on your efforts on making such a perfect City Journal, and I must urge you to continue doing so. You may just deserve a place in my signature... once I get to re-making one... 22.gif

Wow Thanks Darmok! now it'll be much easier.9.gif

For some reason, if i made a New Thread and asked a question besides the link one, I have a feeling it wouldn't be answered. if i asked on here, i would get a answer. But of course I would try not to since this is meant for a Cj and not for Newbie questions.21.gif

    Thanks again Darmok.2.gif

EDIT: Yea!! I did it. 18.gif

    GuardianAngel, You are welcome.

I received so much help in Simtropolis, that I'm glad whenever I can return the favor. We got to help each other on! And I'm pretty sure that Jeroni doesn't mind.

And Jeroni, I forgot in my earlier post to mention that I've noticed the fact that you seem to have two kind of rock texture, a grey rocky one in the mountains and a kind of brownish around your ferry promontoire I don't know the right word for it in english. If it's not a trick, how do you do that???

Great god your marina look good !

Darmok, I took a very close look at the brownish rock texture. It appears to be a base texture applied to a park tile. It probably came from a texture pack that is on the STEX, but I don't know which one. It looks like a very dirty concrete texture to me, but I could be wrong.

I am sorry for my second post, but I fell that I may be able to help... and I, as well, am wondering how those textures are different. The word Darmok was looking for was pointe in English, or promontorio in Spanish, according to Mr. Google (Yo gustar [?] la lengua espanol! 18.gif ). You seem to have used a seawall or just an empty lot with that texture to create this effect, or am I mistaken?
Anyways, jeroni, keep up the good work... and I am patiently waiting for an other update 29.gif.

EDIT: Maybe I was a little slow at posting... or I did not refresh the page for a long time... Sorry about this...

So Darmok are you from a Spanish country?

I don't know why but Foreign people are my favorite. lol I know it  sounds kind of wierd.21.gif

Im American and sometimes I feel like I want to know or be around other Foreign people. Like know what other countries do besides your own.

Hmmm. to explain this an easier way, imagine being at home around your family or at your job forever and just got tired of being around the same people everyday. And you just wanted to see other people instead of the same people you know or see everyday.

    That's how i feel sometimes.19.gif
I am proud of my country and im sure everyone's proud of theirs but sometimes you just got to visit some other places and know other people.

I like Foreign people because of the accents. I think that's what i mean when i say I like Foreign people. Or i guess i could say i like every Race.1.gif

EDIT: oh and if anyone has trouble with their English don't be afraid to ask for help. Like Darmok said, we got to help each other out.2.gif

I was away for a few days and I come back to this, what an update! I was in aw when I saw the 'head-board'!! There are little hints in there as to where this CJ is going...very nice! Jeroni again another stunning piece of work. The Marina is stunning and I totally agree with Mallowthecloud: ...I'd keep my boat there too...all I need now is a boat21.gif.

42.gifDo you spend a lot of time waiting for the correct buildings to build or do you just demolish the ones you don't like the look of and wait for a better one to build? I only ask because the commercial area behind the marina and residential buildings looks just right for the area, anything too tall and it would have spoilt the lines (and I'm sure the residents on Coll de Soller hill will resent looseing the view).

TheGuardianAngel: I guess you are talking about Cultural exchange and understanding...it's a beautiful thing, learning different languages and about other cultures always makes life a little bit more varied and therefore alot more interesting! 18.gif

Back on topic: Keep up the excellent work! I'm looking forward to the next update44.gif
