Building causes crash (Please help - I have a problem)

Every time I try to substitute my BAT building "Blandford Street" into a game, it now produces garbage on those squres then crashes the game when I move the cursor.  I have tried reloading, ever deleting a single square and putting it back, but it still just keeps doing the same.  When a different building is substituted in, like the Antriquarian bookshop, the problem disappears.

This building took nearly a week of my time.  Does anyone have any ideas how to save it?  Or can someone reedit it to be safe?

I thank you in advance of your learned help.

Robert

Hey Robert,

I think you will be relieved to learn that nothing is wrong with this building as after I downloaded it and test-replaced it, it worked just fine. The game did not crash (even after multiple queries) and I did not notice any unaccounted garbage or increase in waste over the course of two years. ;)

What I did notice though is that the building has a "+" sign in its name when it loads into the building list. I'm not sure if it plays a role, but the game, or your system may misinterpret the file or its address and cause errors to occur.

By the way, I have never seen a W2W in SC3000. :D Nice.

The "SimCity 4" vanilla Opera House is the most evil thing in existence. Avoid.

New problemn.  It is now rendering Blandford Street correctl;y, but when I simply use the rotate arrow, the enitree game crashes, even when at stationary.  If I run iot on a little., other buildings behave like Blandford Street was (see attached - see the craziness at the corner the street )... and then it crashed when I try to rotate again.

Hey  Robert, I've noticed that you have a tree in the rear that is placed in the edge, for me, when I place large props on the edge, the game would crash after rotating towards that props position, I am not sure if this happens to everyone, but here are two examples.

    Automated Notice Message

All posts after 1 March, 2026 @ 01:37 GMT were lost in the site crash.

We've added this message thread divider in every topic across all forums for what were then active threads. (We decided active is if the most recent extant post (from the backup) was on or after 1 January, 2026.)

This divider serves as notice that the conversation was interrupted. Answers and further discussion which used to be here have been lost. Keep this in mind when replying. Our hope is to rebuild what is missing.
