SimCity 4 startet nicht

Hallo Zusammen, mein Name ist Ulf, ich spreche leider sehr schlecht englisch aber hoffe das mir  hier trotzdem geholfen werden kann.

ich habe mir "SimCity.4.Deluxe.Edition.v1.1.641" heruntergeladen und auf meinem Windows 11 LapTop installiert. leider bricht der Program Start nach dem Intro ab, dh. das Spiel startet nicht.

ich habe sehr viele englischsprachige übersetzungen gelesen aber konnte noch nichts finden das ich richtig verstanden habe um mein Problem zu lösen.

- Wenn ich es richtig verstanden habe soll man den "SimCity Launcher" nicht mehr installieren. (ich habe den Download auch gar nicht finden können, sonst hätte ich es wenigstens probiert)

-  ich habe den 4GB Patch insalliert hier , und weiß nicht ob von dort noch eine weitere Datei benötigt wird.

ich würde mich über Ratschläge freuen damit ich das Spiel zum laufen bekommen.

Hallo Ulf,

wo hast Du SC4 denn heruntergeladen, bei GOG oder über Steam bzw. die EA-App? Hast Du schon irgendwelche Downloads hier von Simtropolis oder von anderen Seiten installiert? Eigentlich sollte SC4 auch unter Windows 11 laufen, aber es kann sein, dass z. B. die Bildschirmauflösung von Deinem Monitor nicht unterstützt wird o. ä. Es ist auch möglich, dass Deine CPU nicht richtig erkannt wird (SC4 unterstützt nur einen CPU-Kern).

Daher solltest Du die Kommandozeilenparameter aus dem von @CorinaMarie verlinkten Beitrag ausprobieren, Ich hatte mir SC4 die Tage über GOG heruntergeladen, und bekam auf dem Desktop eine Verknüpfung, wo bereits -CPUCount:1 -f als Parameter hinterlegt waren. Das Spiel ist in einer recht kleinen Bildschirmauflösung gestartet, aber es kann sein, dass Du erst einen DirectX-Wrapper benötigst.

Ansonsten kannst Du gerne mal im SimForum vorbeischauen, da kann ich Dir auch weiterhin auf Deutsch Tipps geben.

Most likely it is a GPU-related problem especially intel GPUs and to a lesser extent AMD GPUs

My advice is as follows. Follow this tutorial on how to configure SC4 (

If you have an Intel GPU you have to update the drivers and in the dgvoodoo control panel you have to select DirectX 12

If this doesn't work then try installing this wrapper instead of dgvoodoo

ich habe SimCity es als free Download von GOG runtergeladen wo in der Desktop Verknüpfung ebenfalls die Parameter " -CPUCount:1 -f " bereits unter "Ziel" gesetzt sind.

Mein Laptop ist ein Intel i7 mit 14 CPU-Kernen, das wäre ja schon mal ein HInweis auf ein Problem.

Meine Grafikkarte Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060, Auflösung die derzeit eingestellt ist1920x1080

- kann ich das mit einen Patch lösen und wenn ja, mit welchem?

If you have SC4 CPU Options DLL installed then you can set CPU Count 1 and especially CPU Priority: High from there.

CPU Priority always has to be set high for Intel cpu's from the 13th generation onwards because of the Performance Core and Efficent Core which resulted in a radical change in the Windows Scheduler and so applications have to indicate priority to the CPU and this thing doesn't do that anymore Windows

Ich habe aus dem Patch "Sc4 CPU Options" die Dateien "SC4CPUOptions.ini"+ "SC4CPUOptions.dll" Datei in den Ordner "C:\GOG Games\SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition\Plugins" kopiert. und mit dem Editor geöffnet. Den Eintrag "Priority=AboveNormal" kann ich auf "High" ändern aber wie stelle ich "CPU Count 1" ein ? Das übersehe ich wohl...

In der Komadozeile der Programm Verknüpfung auf dem Desktop ist der Eintrag für die CPU-Einstellung schon vorhanden wenn ich es jetzt richtig verstanden habe.

"C:\GOG Games\SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition\Apps\SimCity 4.exe" -CPUCount:1 -w -CustomResolution:enabled -r1280x720x32"

Dann ist das also nicht mein Problem so wie es aussieht.

- könnt ihr mir bitte sagen welches der richtige Patch für die Grafik einstellung ist?

Just a warning. If you're using the Mod DLLs and contemporarily the launch paramenters it creates a conflict. You can use only the Mod DLLs or the launch paramenters but not both because they overwrite each other

Nach dem ich den Patch " SC4GraphicsOptions " installiert habe ist noch nicht viel passiert außer das ich das Intro beim Starten des Spiels abstellen konnte, aber nach dem Update von den Grafikkarten Treibern und einem Neustart des Computers konnte ich das Spiel auf einmal starten. Warum verstehe ich nicht aber ich freue mich sehr darüber und bedanke mich für Eure HIlfe.
