How do I delete a city I have created?

In SimCity 3000 Unlimited I have some failed cities I created that I want to delete.  However, I can't find them. 
They show the directory to load them in the game but they are not in that directory on the computer. 
Does anyone have some ideas where I can find them and delete them?  Thanks for your help!

Had a look on my computer, thru I'm not sure my answer is going to help as I use Linux and Crossover to play the GOG version of SC3K ... anyway if I want to delete any of my SC3 cities I go to this folder on my computer ....

/home/catty/.cxoffice/Games-64bit/dosdevices/c:/GOG Games/SimCity 3000 Unlimited/Cities

Thanks Catty I found the cities folder but none of the cities I created show up?  I wonder if they are stored somewhere else.

If you save on "C:\Program Files\*" and the game isn't run as administrator, chances is saved on Windows Virtual Store instead at "C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore" because Windows (since Vista and up) won't permit ordinary user to write on Program Files by default without raising privilege to Administrator.

So would that explain why active cities do not show in the file listing?

Am now running a Windows 11 PC, currently using GOG Galaxy so SC3 is saving new cities to

"C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\SimCity 3000 Unlimited\Cities\....
