I have a problem that in SC4 some Textures are broken (see pictures)

I already reinstalled the game but that didn't fixed it and I changed the graphic settings to test that.

Does someone know how to fix this ?

I have SC4 Deluxe Edition on Steam.

I have win10 with a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU

Hope someone can help :D thanks.

It looks like a graphical compatibility issue, since it's mostly affecting transparency, SC4 was designed for DirectX 7 and not all modern GPU drivers naively support some of the game's functions.

Step one though is to check what settings are currently in use, since a lot of dual-GPU laptops like you have, will default to the on-board (usually Intel) graphics, which are known to have some graphical glitches. Inside the installation folder, open the Apps folder and find the file MYCOMPUTERNAME-config-log.txt, copy it's contents into your next post and we can see a lot of useful information to assist you.

Whilst SC4 will run better using your dedicated NVidia card, that might require the use of a Wrapper, but either way they are designed to bridge these gaps, essentially converting commands of newer DirectX versions to work for older ones (games). The post i made here details how to setup dgVoodoo2 for SC4 and I would recommend this Wrapper since it allows you to select which GPU/Display the game will utilise.

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

p.s. - I'm MGB over on SC4D and a member of the NAM team.
