[In Progress] Cheat "PlopAllLots" / "PlopAllBuildings"

Hello everyone,

i´m Testing the "Extra Cheats Plug in", to search for braun Boxes and other Mistakes. The Command is "PlopAllLots" after you opend the Cheat Box with "Strg and X" make a right Klick in it and scroll down to the Command, klick on it (left Klick) and hit Enter. (a personal Hint... close all other Programs in the Background. Otherwise it wont work till the End).

Some Examples:

Why is it two Times in there?

Next Test is... "PlopAllBuildings". Is it possible to use "No Maxis Building" with it at the same Time? Guess it would go much faster.

Hello,

i tried to build all Buildings last Night for... 4 or 5 Hours. After ~15-20 Minutes the Game take a Pause and closed it by himself.= Restart the Maschine and try it agin. It´s so frustrating that it wont Work at the 1st Try :-/

I´m going to use a lesser City Tile.

after Stage 4 the PC crashed... even with the lowest City Tile i found. 

Now im going to split the Plug in Folder. This Code must be possible... and my Maschine isn´t that bad ;-)

Hmmm.

after i remover over 50% of the Mods and Lots, i reached Stage 5 on the littelts City Tile.

Now i´m removing the Mods from Methew and Nick.

... and after i reached only Stage 3:

I´ll test it the next Day´s at an High End Desk PC. But im nor sure if i got SimCity working. The Machine it´s a bit overpowered. I´m using it for Mining ;-)

after a while a did run "all Lots" agin. The most Lots are fixed.

I have no Clue, what im missing. I do have all Props, that are hanging around.

It would be nice, if someone could give me a Shoot.

@City_Slider You are missing dependencies and by the looks of it you are most likely missing this one

Read the PDF file. that is where the dependency list is.

So you still don'T have all the dependencies. Mostly it contains the most common industrial like prop packs. It's all listed in the PDF file. You need to place the downloaded prop packs or install them if those are *.exe files into your playing plugin folders. IT's not enough just donwloading them. Those prop packs either will be *.dat files in folders or sc4model+sc4desc files in folders...

But checking Simmer2 dependency list, most of them are BSC dependency packs which are DAT files. If you downloaded those you need to run the *.exe installer to get them into the plugin folder.

It should definitely work - is the file unzipped/in the plugins folder on that machine? Make sure the file isn't corrupted from moving it between PCs (ie re-download)

Also, are you on a MAC - there is an upper limit to the number of plugins you can have before you get brown boxes and have to dat-pack.

Everything is like it need to be. And all needed are installed... for sure.

Only those two Buildings are making Problems. All the others, works, like they should be.

@City_Slider In the first pic you showed the lot S2. The warehouses will fix the big box.

Now you are showing S5 and you are also missing a dependency there. Dude you are confused.

Make sure you also have this

A brown box means only one thing. You are missing the building file from the dependency, so something has happened. 

I have just emptied my plugins and downloaded the lot in question, plus the either/or dependency pack (the lot looks empty because I haven't added the two other dependencies)

As you can see, it works. The lot editor shows the building, and you can see the two folders in the empty plugins.

I´m lost... after Re-install... its the same Problem.

Guess i need to delet those Files out of my Plug in Folder. But i do like em... furba.... but there is no other choice i guess ;-

I´m out of the Game. I switch to "FRONTIER" on Amiga 1200. With SimCity i got to many headache. Problems cant be fixed and more Problems are sure not needed. Sad, but the Truth.

Well-well...

Ok, so I read the readme PDF and checked the listed dependencies and then started one-by-one putting them into my plugins folder. I don't know how I managed to do that, but I didn't get brown boxes. Apparently I managed to install properly all of the dependencies. 
- 10 BSC megapacks (9 Jesstarr, 1 T1)
- 9 of girafes flora packs (pretty common again)
- the mentioned Cogeo Logistic Warehouse models. 
- Jim Car prop pack, this one can be a bit hardcore, but the link is pretty straight to the point.
- Murimk industry prop pack
- NBVC stones and Rocks
- SCF Rail cars

And that's it. It's not even that hardcore altogether. I have uploads which are way more complex regarding dependencies, where the dependencies have further dependencies...

Thanks for all the Help Pepps, i realy Accept it. Im going to Download some things agin and reinstell em. But not today. I got a Car Crash at my Way back Home from Work (grrr this Idiot).

Finaly,

everything is fixed and workes fine. No Braun Boxes so far. Guess one or two Downloads was broken. After reinstell the Props, it works.

I realy like this Community.

glad to hear you got the problem fixed and can enjoy the game. also glad you tried the 'plopallbuildings' cheat. i've been curious about it but too much of a chicken to try it. very interesting to see it in action.  Can you tell me what the big gold colored building that says 'aurora' can be found? it's seen in post #2.

Not sure, but i guess it was from Hide and Seek. I´ll have a look later. Im still working on a new Mod for X3 Reunion/Terran Conflict/Albion Prelude. I´m on my Way to get it running :-)
