I installed these:

And they turn my seaports into these:

So, my seaport got upgraded from Seaports to Port to Major Port. According to SC4D Wiki, the latter two aren't implemented to the game. But how are they got implemented to the game?

Thanks.

Side note: I noticed that the Windows search on taskbar name turns from Search from the web to just Search.

Note that I don't enable SWAP Package Center because I want to install CDK.

Editorial addition: the scripts for enabling upgrading is on the X-Ports but it references to upgrade seaports which I don't know where it goes.

The X-Ports folder is part of the BSC Seaports / Seaport controller. I would expect that is what is making them upgrade. You need to be very careful using this mod, since once installed, you won't be able to remove it again if the new ports exist in your cities. It is imperative you read and fully understand the documentation for this mod.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

But, in the document of AC Airports, there's no such warning as far as I know. Only saying, "if you don't wish to enable the SWAP Package Center, you can remove Enable SWAP Package Center.dat." So, I remove that file to ensure compatibility with CDK. I also found Functional Seaports.dat in the Seaports folder of X-Ports.

Well as much as anything, it was simply an educated guess, since I don't use either the BSC Seaports or Airports. I took one look at the dependencies and number of lots and swiftly concluded it wasn't for me.

It certainly doesn't come from the CDK side of things, since PEG's seaport replaces the original Maxis ones entirely. But I do recall something about the Airport and Seaport controllers being one thing. If you've used any lots from either BSC package, you won't be able to uninstall them again, without breaking your save files that used them. Hence the you need to be careful warning, but frankly you are already past the point of return here I suspect.

How about if I removed all the ports? I'm in a new tile in a completely new region and that tile is unfortunately is equipped with that upgradable Maxis port. So far, it's in the first stage (aka the vanilla).

Make a proper backup of your Plugins and the region, then experiment. If it all goes wrong, you can then return to your last working state.
