I do not know how to use the ped mall tiles, and I cannot find pics or video showing me anywhere!  I found some discussions here where users have posted pics, but they don't open. I won't to expand my gameplay.

Well basically they are just an alternate way for your Sims to get from A to B. However unless you place them strategically most Sims will still use the streets and roads to get around. If, for instance, some of your Sims had to take a long looping driving route to get to work but you put a pedmall route in that was much shorter, many would use it instead. Good for making paths through a forested area or anywhere there are no roads. I personally have used pedmalls and mass transportation to create an entire city with out roads, streets or any vehicular thoroughfares I would suggest you start a sandbox city and use it to experiment. Commercial and industrial will function on pedmalls but the industry will need a rail line touching the zone to ship freight and the commercial will almost always complain about not enough customers. Residential will function also but there are trade offs to be made. Anyway, try it out for yourself and if you need some pointers I will try to help you out.

Thought I would add these for examples.

The picture above is my first no completely "no road" city. Also first one over 1 million population.

This one is just a small part of a very mountainous region.

This is one of my favorite downtown cores.

This one was a test city to see how far the lazy little Sims would walk.

I need to see more photos and examples of PED layout.    Need at least 6 to 7 different photos or some tutorial how to do this.

I'm confused over this, because my Sims definitely walk more than 8 tiles to go places.  I've seen some photos where someone did PED though the whole map but need to see photos how far off the street I can build Commercial centers.

Take a look at this thread, this issue was discussed recently and I made a few observations that should help making a functioning city with lots of pedmalls.

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

p.s. - I'm MGB over on SC4D and a member of the NAM team.

I did not know those walls act like PED.  I was mainly looking to see if I use PED off the road, connected , like how far deep off the road could I go, and also zone like a 7x7

Plopable lots with jobs usually don't last long, but can plop be used with PED ?
