Some Questions Using Elevated Rail Over Ave/Rd.

It's time to think about mass transit for Shakako beyond buses and I'm considering trying out the Elevated Rail over Avenue*/Road (very appropriate here).  I tend to use Tram in Avenue for mass transit after buses, but I wanted to try something new.  However, having assessed the city's layout, at least 2 issues with intersections came up:

1)  Elevated Rail and Heavy Rail intersections.  Now, of course, there is an option here: have the elevated rail go to tram in avenue and use a viaduct rail crossing.  That's okay I suppose, but I'd prefer to not take it down to street level (* especially since I've decided to go with the elevated rail over Road-4, since that provides the cleanest look with the station)

2)  Elevated Rail and Diagonal Avenue intersections.  This one is a lot more tough - the only thing I could think to do was have the diagonal turn to meet the elevated rail carrying avenue (road-4) in an orthogonal connection.  Not very pretty, and would bastardize any continuous diagonal that happened to be crossing both sides of the avenue (road-4).

Are there any puzzle pieces I've somehow missed?  There are the roundabouts for the TiA, but there none for the Elevated Rail that I can find.  Thanks for reading!  *:D

Edit:  I'm just going ahead and doing the TiA.  I couldn't figure out any alternatives.  *:(

I think you can just drag a DTR rail line through the El over Ave/Rd-4 pieces to make a crossing. There is certainly such a piece for the El over Road network.

So far as I know unsupported.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

There certainly may be but I couldn't ever get El over Ave/Rd-4 to cross even ground level DTR.

Shame how limited the El system is.... I'd almost prefer El rather than the TiA if it were more flexible.

Just tried and indeed it's not supported. It's relatively easy RUL-wise to add most Ortho connections, I've very limited time for such tasks right now, but I'll see what I can do.

Given these are Flex-based again, I think it's something that might realistically be done at some point. I personally feel similarly that a lot of good NAM features just lack sufficient support outside of OxO crossings. But with limited developers/time, certain projects receive more attention than others.
