Having a few problems with notifications

I bought SimCity 4 a while back, and was part of a (brief) conversation about the game and some of its options. I have been swamped with work and life-related situations, but I am more than ready to dive right into the fun!! I just tried to access the notifications from that conversation, but I understand that it's been too long to read past comments. I have tried to read my emails but am getting an error screen. Not sure why this is happening, so I figured I would post this thread. Can anyone help?

Hi NeveroddoreveN,

For any given site notification as listed, these are stored for 30 days before being automatically removed from one's Notifications list. At this point the site deletes them as a scheduled task, and so it's not possible to recover them once that happens. We could raise this limit, but a consideration is how much data this uses for all users sitewide.

It's possible to adjust your settings from this page (just make sure to hit the Save button once done making changes).

Let us know if there's a specific error message you receive when trying to access them. I've re-saved your account via admin tools in case that helps to reset anything.

(As a side note, I've moved your topic to the ST Related forum.)

Cyclone Boom - thanks for your message! I appreciate you taking the time to write me back. I just tried my email function again, and now I am not getting that error message. Which is great, thanks so much!

Just adding to what @Cyclone Boom wrote: There is an ongoing site glitch every now and then when both the editor in the forums and in private messages just doesn't open properly. So far we've found that refreshing the page usually always fixes that. (When it happens the editor only shows the option to attach files or pictures, but doesn't open the text editor box.)
