Need advice on median bus lanes

I'm trying to modify THIS custom road asset from the workshop to change the tram lanes to bus lanes for my city.

I've managed to remove the overhead lines, the tracks and change the props and now I'm working on the road texture. I've also changed the tram lane to public transport lane and the two middle pedestrian lanes to allow cars to stop, however if I try to add a bus stop in game it only allows me to place it on the very side lanes even if I disable the stops on that lane.

I've checked out ELVIS0529's ELVIS BRT System (international) custom road in the road editor, which has median bus stops and tried those lane options as well, but it didn't help.

If you have any advice or experience on solving this please let me know!

Roads are really not my area, but as far as I know, roads have a special mesh for stops, which the road switches to when placing stops. That is likely the one that has areas defined for where the stops will be. Try looking what options the road has under segments and see if one is the bus stop one.

Hi.

The different segment meshes are only for "asthetics". The apearance of a different  mesh segment at certain situation can be set/activated via the segment options/flags.

You have to define things like bus/tram stops within the different lane options properties panel. .

For bus stops at the inner island platforms, you have to set the pedestrian lanes to "Island platform" and the stop type to car. 

That way it should work.
