So this is another article about how the SimCity Series influenced a new generation of urban planners, architects and so on.

What was the impact of SimCity, especially SC4 on your personal/ professional life?

Some of our folks in the Newark Department of Economic and Housing Development and the Zoning Department have played the game and found it useful in working on real-life development proposals...they can do projections of things like economic, pollution, traffic, and crime impact.

One of my bosses, Mayor Sharpe James, was interested in the game...he wanted to make a SimNewark. I do NOT know if he ever did.
