Since I live in Hamburg, it was obvious that I want to build a harbor.
Since I now have time as a volunteer, it was also allowed to be something bigger...... ;-)

It's NOT the Port of Hamburg but it's heavily inspired ....

The whole thing was created on a flatland landscape, completely without water.
Although was a miserable fumbling, only to work with the channel system but I think it was worth it.
Now come a few fine works ..........

OMG that's stunning    if I could have "LIKED" each picture I would have done and thank you for posting them.

I'm happy for you to to keep posting in this club, but there is a section on the main forum called SC4 Showcase " A collection of picture topics to show various aspects of your SimCity 4 city-building ventures" which you may want to visit next time you want to post pictures, and a quick check shows there is a sub-topic called "Show us your ...Seaport"

Very nice scenes with clever use of modular content items.

We can keep your topic here in the Club, and you're very welcome to re-post your pictures in SC4 Showcase including the seaport thread Catty mentioned above. Or if you wish I can move your post over to there. If planning to post new updates, something else you may wish to consider is opening up a City Journal.

Also as a quick tip, it might be worth uploading pictures in the JPG file format. This has the benefits of a higher compression ratio than PNG images. Therefore with each being a smaller file size, it would make your 125 MB quota of local site storage go further (which can be managed here). Or alternatively another option is to upload them to Imgur or another 3rd party host. Then the direct links can be pasted in your post, from where they'd display in the same way.

First of all, thanks for the friendly feedback.
It would be very nice if you put it in the "seaport thread" mentioned by Catty.

I still have to find my way around and have never been good at finding the right thread .... ;-)
I did not pay attention to the format of the pictures, sorry. Next time I'll take care of that ..... promised
