Cities Skylines British Themed with Babyhead Gaming and we are back with a NEW season of British City with the new DLC that has been released with Cities Skylines  In Ep2. We build a Forestry area and a bit of detailing work not much just a few bits here and there also we build a little Town area for the non educated workers because this area needs a lot of workers and they where complaining about the lack of them so we placed a new small town next to the area.

Please Like and Subscribe to my channel as it would be much appreciated . :)

    Hi!

First off, welcome! I watched your videos for the first time, and I truly did enjoy them. If you don't mind, there are a couple suggestions I would like to make:

    1) Move it! you should check that mod. It's a game changer!

    2) Network extensions 2. I know that network extensions might not work for you, but there is an "upgrade" if you will, called network extensions 2, check it out.

    3) I like the way you design your towns, but there are 2 things that I truly dislike.. a) the map! I mean, your towns look so good, yet the overall look of the map really takes away from the work and b) the train trenches... wow.. that is something pretty extreme! I know you have your reasons, but maybe by trying new mods you could get around that.. but please.. as a friendly suggestion, dont do that!! It takes so much away from the work you are putting into this.

Other than that, again, I really enjoy your series and I hope to see more!

Hi sorry I am only seeing this now we had a last min bank holiday weekend get away with the family . Wow thank you for the words of encouragement means a lot thank you , also i am not sure what you mean by " Map"  do you mean I try copying a map or do you mean the total zoom out look *:)

As for Network I am waiting till the Mod author updates it as for me roads disappeared when logged back in , and as for the trench where I am the rail lines are slightly lower then normal as I live close to the city center  ie from goggle https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.4615665,-2.1786692,142a,35y,311.25h,45t/data=!3m1!1e3 but I think I may of gone to extreme in parts lol :D

Edit. Never-mind now after waking up and drinking my coffee I see what you mean about the map , I know what you mean but in my heart i like it because it not as flat but unforntally the only way is to start again I do wish I used something else but that's always like life , you wish you done something different but to late to turn back lol

Cities Skylines British Themed Ep.6 Start of the Tram Line.

In Ep6. We start on working on a very small tram Network/Line and also adding some more housing more density for the area. Things to add well off camera tonight will include boosting the population to our next milestone to unlock the next buy-able area ,baby sitting the population growth so we dont go out of control to quickly and lose the feel of the area .

In Ep7. Cities Skylines British Themed EP. 7 Football Stadium Part 1 . We look at building a stadium and talk about what is around that stadium and thinking if cities skylines would play nice with a complex area with parking , one way streets and bus lanes.

Hey! Im sorry I havent been able to comment lately.. I was in New York. I watched all of the videos, but to be honest was so tight on time that I watched them in pieces and never really had the time to comment.

Well now Im back, and I just wanna say that it is entertaining to watch.. I truly enjoy them! Keep it up!!

Now, I read that suggestions/requests are a thing.. how about a challenge for you!  How about, of course keeping it british, if you try your hand at building a Medieval kind of High Street.. you know, a little historical district, where instead of having those georgian/victorian shops, you go more of a medieval style.

In any case, whatever you decide for your next episode, Im pretty sure I will enjoy it as I have been enjoy the rest so far!

Hi BG- hope it's OK to call you that.  Like my friend Horus_Kol, I'm not a real fan of videos either, particularly in a new by an author I don't know anything about.  That's not because the videos aren't well-done or interesting.  I know that a lot of work goes into creating one.  The problem for me and I think a lot of other people is that time to look at CJs is limited, and so presuming that someone is going to spend most or all of it watching a long video is pretty presumptuous.  If I see five or six screenies in a CJ that I like enough times to pique my interest, I might devote a session in the CJ section to watch someone's video.  But there's no guarantees.

Moving on, I like what I see here.  I visited the Cotswolds a couple of years ago and a few of your close-in shots really have a small English village feel.  So there's that.  I thought cmdp's suggestions were really well-taken.  I'll be interested to see how you maintain a village feel with what looks like fairly massive adjacent transportation infrastructure.

    So good luck!

    David

One the ideas I have in place for village like this is something on the lines of town that time forgot unforgettably there still cars because that is head ache other wise but i will be a medieval feel and fields with castle still drawing up the plans in my head atm . As for your other point I will try and do more pictures where possible sometimes it case I keep forgotten to screenshot pictures . Thank you for your feed back it is much *:)

Hi again, BG.  Thanks for posting the screenies.  They are, as I thought they would be, very nice.

Another suggestion- I am noticing your trees are all oriented in the same direction as you plop them.  Using boformer's "Random Tree Rotation" mod as updated by Judazzz really enhances a more natural look.
