Content on new Mac release

Hello everyone, i have a feeling that some of these questions are on this site somewhere so sorry if i am repeating questions. I was curious about downloadable content for the new mac version.  I use to have the disc version on a laptop, but it broke and i had to get a new imac that does not support the old disc, nor does the operating system. I started by downloading Keka, and i really would like to know what other mac users have encountered adding the content through it. What types of items work, which do not. Or really any other issues encountered by trying to get all the good stuff people have made(thank you simtropolis).  I kind of know which items i really want, aside from growable buildings. i am just worried ill spend a bunch of time adding things that cant work in my game.

 

Also, random question. i deleted my email that was attached to this site, how do i change it?

If'n it were me, I'd either post this question in this forum or PM a staff member. Over on the right side of the staff list you can see who's been here most recently to pick one likely to see your PM soon. I'd personally pick a moderator and not bother an admin with this question.

Hi there,

Most files work on the mac, however there are some which are built specifically for the mac and will be the easiest to use, while the rest of the files will work but won't have nightlighting. The files built for the Mac are the only ones which will have nightlighting on Mac, all other files will work but the lights won't.

For files which are built specifically for the mac; view this list of files tagged 'mac compatible'

Other files will be .zip, and won't need any special extraction, other than being unzipped. However, lots of files you come across will be .exe and will require extraction by keka.

Actually, that's something that only an admin can fix, so send me a PM  and I can add a new email to your account
