    Why go anywhere else?

(This model has a little ways to go before release, but it's getting there.)

I might of got around to doing that one in time with how crazy they've been about expanding, but this works too!

I went to one on the way back from Maryland and was so impressed with the food there that I moved it to the top of my to-do list. I can also say that I am working on a few more small regional US brands (won't be a part of a pack or anything but individual releases). I think I plan on doing more US gas stations in general in the future than I did this year, with an emphasis on some defunct brands. I have the canopies and signs done and I need to do buildings.

One are the Luke and Golo stations out of Chicago and expanding into downstate Illinois and Indiana. I may pair it with a Noble Roman's Express.

The other is Texas Born (TXB) in Austin and San Antonio.

I'm definitely getting Rutters once it's downloaded.  My mother would rather have food and gas from Rutters over Sheetz any time of day.

Like I said, I was so impressed with them that I had to make one. That is some really good food they have.

oh I love the idea of bringing the lego brand into the game.

When I was a kid in the 90s and the sets with Octan were coming out it was also around the same time as the Jurassic Park movies were coming out, and in my head InGen and Octan seemed similar I guess, and also it's an oil company, so over time Octan developed a slightly nefarious tone for me lol

Can someone do Bucc-ee's at some point in time?

It’s basically a huge grocery store with lots and lots of pumps. I’m sure it will be made one of these days.

I'm waiting for the day when someone makes a Faber College lot for SimCity 4

I find it amazing that I was not aware of that song despite LEGO being one of my other hobbies. I can't say I'm surprised though as I would have only been a toddler when it came out.

I had that game and I would have been 10 or 11, and I would just go around the island having absolutely no idea what was happening, where I was, or what I was supposed to be doing. It was incomprehensible. Looking at some videos of it now and it's not just because I was a kid, it was just a really poorly designed game lol.

I wouldn't say it was poorly designed, but rather it was kind of the first of its kind - a first-person interactive action adventure game for children ages 4-5+. It wasn't like Putt-Putt and similar games in the sense of movement. Sure, the game hasn't aged well in some cases (and this is coming from a fan of the game, who is now an adult), not just in terms of visuals.

The game relied a lot on dialog from various characters, particularly the Infomaniac. There were some visual things, such as clicking on certain icons and such to go into different buildings and areas. Kind of like a first-person Myst. In a way, I think the game also tried to teach children how to listen and visually look for details and clues.

A politically cursed building that I made that won't be an official upload. Consider it a B-Side of sorts. In rural America, these stores have been popping up in closed retail space, for people to show appreciation to their leader. Due to the retailpocalypse in the 2010s a lot of retail space opened up, and the increase in supply meant low rent prices in these areas due to lack of demand. Sensing a business opportunity, the leader's biggest supporters came out to open stores in support of their leader due to these low rent prices.

In terms of a recreation of rural America, one can't tell the story of a commercial area there without having one of these stores litter the landscape in a sea of Dollar Generals, McDonalds, and Tractor Supply stores.

Because some people vehemently disagree with said political person's policies to where it's triggering. It's a take it-or-leave it piece of art.

I’m coming up empty on the SNM files. They’re supposed to be on SC4D LEX, but I just did a search and found nothing at all.
