I am amazed that this topic is still alive!  we've got some really got farm land here.  I hope this topic has inspired others to start making more rural lands with their skyscrapper forests.  here are a few pics of my latest update to Newtopia Valley:

    Hey, everyone,

Wow--there are some nice pics in this thread, and I'm resurrecting it, because I 36.gif farms!!  Head back and take a look--it's not a super long trip, just a nice Sunday drive.

Soldyne, if you're out there, your farm pics were great.  I love the way you wind the trees around the fields and the diagonal layouts.

JanYpe, I love your village with the numerous ditches and the bike path swooping through.

Jacky, I'm glad Paradise Falls 1 is captured all over this site, great memories.

Here are a couple of mine, from Robertson, named after the Australian town in which the movie Babe was filmed:

I will be showing a few other pics from Robertson here and there.  An overview is in the SUYA thread.  It is the first tile of a region of which I hope to be showing you more in the future.   Comments are welcome, thanks for looking.

    Bye for now.

Here's some farms on the outskirts of Swannanoa:

Hi, and thanks for the nice comments.

Hey, joe90, I recognize that Desperation, the huge, gorgeous mountain farm region shown earlier in the thread.  You and Diamond can sure do a lot with the maxis farms, nice layouts, and I loved how you blended the farms into the terrain.  I'll re-look at that when I start on the mountain parts of my region.  I think the custom farm lots have added a lot of variety, sorry if they are too bright.  On the last pic, the red was due to the rising sun.  Oops, 10.gif  don sunglasses, here's one more:

Sorry, but you were warned.  3.gif

    Bye for now.

No need to apologise Liv - they look great in your pics. More market garden style.

I like the crop circle too! alien.gif

Unfortunately the region shot I posted earlier in this thread is now horribly out of date and only shows a quarter of the story...

Jacky, just have to say again i just love your work. Everyone did a great job on there farmland, but if i had to pick 1 as my favorite, it would be jacky's. Your terraforming is awesome and cant wait to see more of your work.

Penguin - looking at your old work that's quite an improvement! Well done!

Nardo - one of these days you're going to post a photo and no-one's going to notice.

Meanwhile, my farms keep spreading like the plague, except they don't kill everything along the way:
