I'm looking for some ideas for how to handle an interchange I'm going to be building.

The interchange is a four-way meeting of an elevated highway running west from one island to another, and a ground-level highway running along the western shore of the east island.

It's going to meet somewhere shortly before the west-bound highway becomes a bridge, and I'm not sure the best way to approach it.

Any tips or examples?

Any change you could add a few screenshots? It's kinda hard to find a solution for something that is difficult to envision.

I would, but I don't have any. I haven't gotten to building it. I was trying to figure out how to approach it first before I started.

    Catch 22.

Basically the ground highway runs perpendicular to the elevated (12m) highway, passing under it at a probably close to a 90 degree angle. The ground highway will run along the coast, and pass under the elevated highway somewhere before it -the elevated highway- begins its span over the river.

I don't know if that makes it more clear or not.

I've looked for some real-world examples, but I haven't found any that are quite the same, so any ideas are appreciated.

I don't know the context of your highways (terrain, developed or not, etc.), but from the sound of it it seems like you have a situation that looks very similar to one in my city (I have also a highway bridging a river and a highway following course of the river). For your use case you can probably ignore the interchange on the right as well as the two highway entrances in the middle (the ones coming straight from the residential area).
This is the solution I came up with - I admit it's a bit messier and more spaghetti than may be necessary, but I based it on a real-life interchange.

Yes, that's very similar to what I'm looking at. If you take your picture and flip it vertical, then it's essentially the same. Thanks. This could be helpful.

Ok, so here's what I'm working with, roughly.

The westbound highway will be rerouted to curve down so it comes at the westbound highway more straight-on. And the shoreline will be brought in closer to the westbound highway, roughly to where that quay is, though it may move depending on what interchange I end up doing.

I hope this is helpful for visualizing, so hopefully I someone can give me some ideas for how to approach this interchange.

I've been looking at yours @Judazzzand it may end up being something I try, but I'd like a few other ideas first before I decide.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.
