Your combo of seawalls is outstanding! I dig all the lot work and details as well. What can I say this CJ has some of the best waterfront developments and layouts I have seen! Very easy on the eye with a nice real world look!

Bravo and keep it comming!

I am very glad that again so many of you have left a comment. This kind of support is getting me forward to new updates. Thank you!

A big thank you to all of you!

    Vandy:
Thank you for your long reply. I hope that the walls will be made as well. But at this moment it looks like Constantina is busy with other things, so we may have to wait some time.
About the plaza lots: I still haven't found someone who is able to mod, package and upload them. If you know someone, please let me know about it.
And thank you for posting a link to my CJ in your 'plopable water' thread, I am very honoured. I will surely show more images of this kind of water here...

    mike_oxlong:
Welcome to Cadott Bay! I am glad that you like it.

    mattb325:
Thank you for visiting and posting! I feel very honoured about it, because I really adore your own work. Oh, yes, sometimes I think about what would be possible if I could only use the LotEditor. But I do my best with all the great things that are available on the STEX.
I am glad that I could help you by posting the link to mayang's texture site.
Good bye till next time, here or in your BAT thread...

    MasterPlanMan:
Thank you! I am happy that you like the riversides in Auxerre. I did my best.

    Simbourgeois:
Thank you for opening page 11!

Some things I need your help for:

I am still looking for someone able to do the modding and uploading of the Kwakelaar plaza lots. If you want them on the STEX please help! If you know someone who might be able to do it, ask him or her.

The issue about the ugly grid lines was brought up again at the beginning of this CJ. To resume it: In every image posted in this thread you will notice some ugly dotted lines between all developed tiles, but not on open grass land. These lines are not the normal grid lines. Some months ago, in my UK village CJ, someone told me that this is a bug of the Mac version of SC4. But recently I saw some other Mac CJs that didn't have these lines. So I would like to know how many Mac players have the same problem. I opened a thread about this issue in the Mac section of the forums, but there seem to be few visitors over there. I posted some images in this new thread clearly showing the problem. View them here .
If you are playing on a Mac as well, please let me know if you have this lines or if you don't. Or if you know something about this problem, perhaps even if there is a solution, please let me know about it as well.

I would really like to understand this issue better.

Oh my... this town has a distinct mix of old and new european feel... it jumps out of the pic and gets you from inside, as if you were really there... what an odd sensation. 31.gif

And the last picture really shows how flowingly your city works with nature to produce such awe-inspiring work! 19.gif

One of your best updates ever, in my opinion. 1.gif

This CJ can only be described one way. An absolutely stunning work of art. You have sculpted and painted the region of Caddot Bay beautifully. I am such a $%&^! with so much to learn. You give me something to aspire to.29.gif I will be following this to the end without a doubt.

Hey barnatom. Great updates there. Both, Victoria and your little BAT project are coming along very well. I like that Parisian style of your city, with the broad avenues and the vast plazas. And your retaining walls will be a very nice touch, at least what I can see from the preview picture of the riverfront. Looks like it's completely worth the effort.

    Keep up your great job.

AWESOME! I love the british feel of Astoria. The castle fits in very well. And thanks to the colorful flora, the city is more realistic than ever.

Keep this wonderful work up! 44.gif

Welcome to Simtropolis! And welcome to Cadott Bay, too. But sorry, you cannot download this region. You can only look at the pictures of it here.

    Cjah:
Yes, PEG's things work well with the castle. I wish I could use the other castles here on the STEX, but they all have the Maxis castle as dependency. And since I cannot register on their site, I don't have it 15.gif.

    Simworld 056132:

Dang !!! i guess my earlier attempt to post failed. I'll try to repeat what I said.

Firstly: Outstanding CJ. Just beautiful. Excellent !!!
Secondly: I took a look at page 8 and your ideas for a wall set so here's my comments:
    the obvious stuff,
    1. The pieces will have to be overhanging props or there won't be any diagonal pieces (must have).
    2. 1x1 lots can't be placed on the shoreline (as jeronij mentioned). So ... no seawall application.
    3. The pieces are fairly easy to BAT.
    the not so obvious stuff,
    1. do you have any design ideas on how to handle the on/off ramps ?
    2. how much time do you have to help ? and what can you help with ?

Believe in only what you can prove.

That castle is great. Reminds of a lot of over-reconstructed castle ruins in th southwest. And these first pics of astoria do remind me of a nice CJ about village in England .... 21.gif

Barnaton your can be described by a single word and that is AWESOME your cities become real and more real as time pases.
    waiting for your next update.
and i have a very little suggestion can you add the list of plopable bats and other mods that you use in that city in your first post that could really help newbies like me to make something much attractive like this one .. 44.gif
