Missile Data?

I can't find the missile data in the ilive reader for the tanks, jet fighters and military helicopter.Any idea where?

These are possibly effects, which aren't widely understood. Rather than looking in the SC DATs, try looking in the Maxis add-ons files. A lot of these pieces were part of additional content released for the game and not included in the main dats.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

Good question, since EA shut everything down for the release of Sim City (2013).

They have been hosted by a number of community members, they are also here on ST.

Is there anything in particular you're looking to modify in the data?

There may be some parameters in the vehicle scripts (UDI), which define them. However, there are limitations what can be changed with effects.

The missile data, along with jets, and some other fake-automata are particle effects.

 

The game particle engine understand some sort of programs, not just settings, unfortunately noone reversed them properly yet (something that would be awesome, since they control a wide range of stuff, including some cursors! for example the "circle" when you are using the terrain tools is a particle effect!)

 

There is a video by some of the SC4 artists where he showcase the particle jets after he designed them.
