Hey guys -

Perhaps someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong. I installed RTMT 3.5 and 3.6 but I cannot find the GLR road stations in my menu. I can find everything else, but not these.

Has anyone heard of this issue?

Thanks!

The GLR stops for TiR and ToR are not part of the standard packages, you need this one for those.

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

p.s. - I'm MGB over on SC4D and a member of the NAM team.

Here's how I'm looking after the install and following the readme instructions (they aren't the easiest to follow):

Well, this is not a correct installation, as many of the dat files must be removed. For most of the file types you need to install only one (and delete the rest). For example, you need only one RTMTV3_Stations_NAMCapacity_xxx.dat file; these correspond to the old NAM capacity settings (standard, x2, x5, radical, CAM), which no longer stand, so in V3.60 they were replaced by two (high and low) settings. And of course, you need either the US or the UK (left-hand driving) version of the lots, and only one textures set (you have done it here), whereas a markings set is optional (up to one file here); the MML is optional as well.

As for the props, the busstop, subway and GLR shelter props can be operated in either single-prop mode (a single prop/model which you can choose, and change later if you want) or prop-family mode (multiple props/models, the game chooses them randomly, but you can specify which one to choose by installing/uninstalling the ..._PropF_... files - a bit cumbersome, but good for perfectionists :P). Choose either mode, but not both. The bussign, timetable and phonebooth props are optional, but again, you need to intall only up to one, for each type. These are single-mode only, and they can be installed/uninstalled or changed even after the RTMT stations have been plopped - this will affect all new and existing station lots in your cities.

See the Installation Examples readme (it's a separate document).

Thanks for responding, cogeo. This whole process is a bit confusing (since everything is piece meal). Are you saying I only need to install the RTMT interim stations and V3.60? Or do I need to install 3.50 and 3.51 as well?

If I remember correctly, the models and props needed for RTMT to function are part of the original files. 3.60 is intended as an update, some of the files replace the previous RTMT ones.

You need 3.50 as a dependency for everything, 3.51 was replaced by v3.60, the RTMT Team is currently putting together over on the CB website what's hopefully going to be RTMT 4.0 ... we are also considering temporally giving people access to it if they want to do beta testing for us, the official release once its ready will be going on SC4 Devotion and Simtropolis as normal hopefully with similar installer like the NAM Team uses, but that's going to subject to people being available to write it.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll try it out tonight. I'll install 3.5, 3.6, and the interim stations. I'll then "trim the fat" based on what cogeo suggested above. Hopefully I'll get some TiR working tonight. :)
