There is demand but there is nobody coming to my city. Why is that?

That kind of question is not useful without a lot more detail.  How about some screen shots showing your demand graph, and the city.  And where would they come from?  Do you have any neighbour connections?

Let's just check the basics. Make sure your have all of the following:

Water

Electrictiy

Garbage

Schools

Jobs

High desirability for at least 2 of the R values. ($, $$, $$$)

Not necessary but preferred

Police

Fire

Parks

I've got desirability, I've got demand and I've got supplies but still nobody is coming. Why?

I wasn't kidding.  We need to see a screen shot of the city to even hazard a guess.

Have you done anything that would mess up the balance?  You know, I hope, that you can't have all one kind of lot in your city.

I know this sounds ridiculous, but...  make sure you don't have the simulation paused.

hey this happens to me constantly in Rushour so I completely know where you're coming from. My demand will be very high, I have great schools, hospitals, parks, police and so on in the nearby radius and I even try to build other attractions nearby such as a baseball field or anything but it seems to when I get to a certain residential amount in the city that's living there, and I build more, it seems to dwindle on new construction and people don't move in (even when I put it in cheetah mode to speed it up).

I wish I knew the answer too :(
