New region requires pipes above ground to connect to next Island

Anyone know where I can get a lot  water pipes above ground? Ones that are usable and can cross water easily to connect to my next island like pipes on a bridge similar to oil pipes in Alaska they are above ground cause too steep underwater.

How does that new region "require" above-ground pipes? Anyways, such pipes do not exist in SC4, as far as I know. Water pipes in SC4 are underground. And I think above-ground pipes are actually NOT required, because:

- Underground water pipes can be dragged further and laid underwater too. They can tolerate almost any grade on the ground (or.... the seabed)

- An "island" can easily run its own water utilities. Even the ingame structures (which I find really satisfactory) offer capacities ranging from 2400 cu.m/mo (Water Tower) to 20000 cu.m/mo (Water Pump), to 200000 cu.m/mo (Large Water Pump). So they can easily cover any need without taking up much space, and  aesthetics isn't a problem either,  as they are small and can easily be hidden behind a bigger building or trees. Also, they can be placed anywhere (not requiring some nearby water source, as all are supposed fo get their water from some inexhaustible "aquifer"), and they don't pollute.

 

Now, if you want them only for "aesthetics" (for some CJ, for example - they won't be really carrying any water), maybe search the STEX, or consider making your own, Even if you don't know how to BAT, there are quite a few "Pipes" props/models on the STEX (uploaded as prop-packs) - you will need to make a set of lots capable of being plopped on water. There are some ploppable "boats" and "ships" lots released, take a look into them to see how they are modded.

Although they don't transmit actual water, you could use one of the pipeline sets found in the Exchange, cause some of them have big overhanging bridges that could connect your island to the mainland.

 this bad region that i got here in stex water dept too deep cant connect subways via underground to other island and water pipes it's fine to create water utilities on next island but its getting in my way already by limiting my population in my main city

Use your engineering tools to raise the sea bottom so things will work.

I have a mod that I picked up on the STEX that changes the properties of Water Pipes and Subways to allow them to be built on any grade/depth, because I was playing on a map at the time that had the same issue that you have. I dont recall the name of it at the moment, but I'll check in a few mins and edit the post if I find the name of it. Im pretty sure I still have it lying around in my plugins folder.
