Here are three of my funny (strange) pics....

Smoke coming from a tree?.....and it's not a fire.

Some Vulture reunion or maybe a yearly mating meeting of them? Funny though, this is the only city in the whole region that has vultures   ............?????

Maybe a whale got stuck in the ground somehow when you did terraforming and never went away

we call those «Earthwhales» ....and not earthworms...didn't you know?......lol

heck....I don't know how that got there, but this city never had water......

Here's another strange one similar to the above *Earthwhale*....How can one explain this? Never plopped a lot with this crane on it to this city. It came from nowhere?

Here are some more of my «funny/strange» pics that I have gathered with the years of playing and never uploaded them before.

There must have been an inondation somewhere in my region, because usually sheds like this do not float on a lake...................Any explanations? This is not something that I plopped!

Here are strikers on the street, but heck........they are everywhere, although no school, hospital or police station is closer than 20 or more grids. Are they striking because of the high rents in these appartment blocks?

Here is some sim-graffiti.......I didn't know that they could do graffiti on commercial Zones before the bldg actual grew?

Every year many deer and moose are hit on our roads here in North-America and elsewhere, but in Simcity it is worse............they get hit by the dozens and by train! Run for your life, this is deer slaughter time.........

If you want to get rid of some sims, what can one do? How about draining them in water while they travel on the train?

Sometimes Sims get to shoot eachother, just like humans, and also once in awhile there's a *Shoot-out* among neighbors.......maybe one or two complaining about the BBQ smell of the other?

And a last one. Once a year Sims clean out their homes, maybe a spring cleaning? I didn't know that it was part of the game to see this, but for me it was the first time time after many years of playing.

Here's another fun commuting path pic: Notice the green  arrow on the farthest side of the  avenue (the right lane going west) and follow it around.

Well, avenues behave pathwise like two one way roads next to each other. A driver can't just cross the median to make a turn into a driveway. Only right turns are permitted unless there's a median break. As such, since he's coming from the other way, he has to turn around at the first possible spot after his destination and come back at it. There are places in real life where you see this kind of thing. He's not being stupid, he's taking the shortest possible route.

And, speaking of realism: that cloverleaf is way too big. Compare it to the size of the game's highway to highway cloverleaf. Notice anything?

In fact, that's exactly why I never attempted to make any of my own custom interchanges using one way roads and whatnot like that. Doing it on an reasonable scale is impossible. I would've just put in the game's standard highway to avenue interchange and left it at that. Doesn't take up so much space that way. Space which would be better used as part of the city instead of wasted as open grass and pavement.

I go to a lot of image laden sites and dont have any problems....not sure what the deal is here.  :/

Actually, the old ST server would automatically delete images older than 1 year. So  most of the oldest images in this thread have been gone for a good couple years now.

More recent images should work fine, though.
