How to get to Work - a Guide by Boris225... hehehe

 

If you aren't rolled over by a steam roller in the middle of the night in the garden, you can try to get to the ground from your house (precariously placed on top of another guy's house!). If you get to the ground, you can try to survive driving down your steep driveway!

 

Once you get on the freeway (if you make it that far) try not to fall through holes in the road and getting smacked by trains. On your way to work you may notice animals flinging themselves into the local volcanoes!

 

You are almost to work, but now you have to drive down *insert ominous sound clip here* Asscrack Boulevard! If you survive that steep street, and make it all the way to the parking lot, try not to get smacked by Sims (or dogs) falling off the racetrack on the roof!

This is more of a question, is this a quarter of a building?

 

Your new job is in the square, U-shaped building with a large parking lot and flea market.

 

The tension on the bridge cable must be very great.  But the bad part is that the bridge is weak.

It's kind of hard to see, but here's a poor fellow on a wheelchair about to roll right into the sea.

 

 

Fortuneately, he stopped just in time.  But now he has to go all the way back up the hill.  You'd think one of the other Sims would help the guy out.

For some reason, It won't let me upload any images. Gives me an error about an "Invalid path character" and also puts the line:
[simtropolis.com, I suppose]/idealbb/upload/saveimage.asp, line 122
I went to that adress, but all that was there was a bar that said "upload file"
Sooooooo....
I have lots of screensots I'd love to show you but...
No go.
Any ideas about what's going wrong?

yes, dirk should note this aswell. i've mention this before several times. but anywayz your probably could be one of the following

1. image is not within 800x600
2. image is not less then 200kb
3. image is not "standard" jpeg format
4. image has werid charaters in filename e.g. Pic1-%$.jpeg

if it says invalid charater for you, its most likly number 4. .. have your file name simple. like image1.jpeg or picture.jpeg dont put any odd/werid charaters in the filename.

You can't have really complex file names, like "393590fjirjmtf__ 953.jpg". Only letters and numbers, no symbols. The picture needs to be a JPEG fle of less than 200kb, and needs to be at most 800x600, I think.

Also, make sure your filename doesn't have any spaces.  Use underscores ( _ ) instead.

I love this thread. You know perhaps the reason this site has more members is because anomynous browers check out this thread and decide that they must join in the fun.

Heck simtropolis' forums, LEX, modds, community, chat and articles is a very good reason to sign up!
