Wow that's one big station. It looks great. The accessway over the glass roof is a nice touch. The only thing I don't really like is the circle on the glass below the clock. I don't really know what you're doing with that piece but it looks quite odd.

Its the southern railway logo, it has both Portsmouth and Southampton city Crests in it which is rare, i like

That is so awesome, Tonkso. It's just a shame I can't use it because I'm only aiming to get 1 million across a small 15 by 20 kilometre region. It'd be a great substitute for Central Station if anyone was doing a Sydney-like region, though.

BTW, for that 4-platform station on the previous page - could you fullfill my request from a month ago to do a 9-10 tile long platform version?

Holy Monkey Flying Action that is very large...very detailed too. This will be a very good centerpiece in any major metropolitan area.

Very ornate detail.     For whatever reason, the walls remind me of the city walls in Rome: Total War, but that could be just me.  Those are crosswalks in the front and back?  I'd dare passengers to cross those!

whoa that is a big station. i like the underpass road, but im curious to how the sidewalk will match up in the game. it looks fantastic, but that white checkered default sidewalk might mesh in better with the game.

The station is 11 tiles wide, with 10 of these taken with rail, and 10 tiles deep.

Hmm, you're forgetting one thing: Central has through platforms.

The best way to do Central would be to split it. Thankfully this wouldn't be too hard to do, as a track pair divides the two sections.

well not always,what you could do when making a central station, is to make it go in tunnels, as some of Oslo central station does,well infact most central stations i have seen have some parts underground. and Berlin central station,if i made it i would have to make it subway as it is entirely underground,and a few tracks are running elevated.

So if you use your imagination a bit, there COULD be tunnels at the start of each platform on that station.

Yeah, I didn't realise the 4 tracks on the left side were termini (or whatever the plural is) until after Tonkso uploaded it. From the map I just assumed they were through. (But I know Central still has even more through-platforms.)

Anyway, yeah, on the split station thing: that is what I've been doing in my region. Using an adelaide-sized central station with a Sydney Central configuration. If Tonkso finishes the 4 platform station with the lengthened platform version then I'll be able to use that as the 4 through-lines.

Along with my incomplete 8 Canada Square and 20 Cabot Square, the new addition of my, also incomplete 25 Bank Street means Canary Wharf is on its way.
