Man...with perspective to the buildings next to him, that guy is HUGE!!!! I mean...how is it this giant hasn't been exposed yet? Is this a 1st sighting? I can't believe nobody caught this. whoever is sitting in the middle of downtown needs to get off those gmo's.

Oooh, wow! Now I feel like a child at Christmas that has just been heaped with presents but keeps asking for more, yet still I have to ask: Would a version without the road be possible? If not, that's no problem - I guess the road could be hidden with props, or I'll just stick to the old version, which is good enough for me. Then again, come to think of it... it would be more flexible if the road was left for the LE anyway...

Ah it will be left for the LE, i will delete the road piece before the render and input it in the Lot Editor. Also this building still fits onto its original 2x2 lot size.

More work today, Surbiton Station in South West London. This 4 platform commuter station is pretty much just pure awesomeness, so i had to model it,

Love the model. Something about that glass texture doesn't sit right with me. Actually, it feels much too clean. A little bit of dirtying up and the application of a gradient to the building would IMHO really bring this into its element.

I do like how it's coming along though.

As for the station... Can't get enough of those! One of these days I need to learn the BAT and produce a simple, nondescript Sydney station. I am DEFINITELY liking the way that is coming along.

Wow what would we do with out you Ill Tonkso. Yet another great BAT and I see your working on another piece of Canary Wharf, I can only think of a few more buildings left and you've recreated it all. No British style city can be created without your fantastic buildings. Great job and don't stop :-P

Just an update, also i would like to thank Jasoncw for the idea of overlaying a 10% opacity pastel red colour over the top of the main texture, it has worked wonders.

OMG this is the exact station I need for my city Tonks!!! Is it gonna be bigger than Guare du Nord? Anyway it is amazing tonks and I have to say I love you!!!!!!

Oh and also thats not too many platforms at all . Grand Central has 34 I think.

Well, I have to admit that such huge stations are barely usable in SimCity anymore. While it might be accurate to include all 20-something platforms of the real station, how do you place such a monster in a city? I have a couple of large train stations installed, but never used anything larger than frogface's Kings Cross station, which has just the right size for a central station.

I can often manage to fit a large station in, i have used St Pancras a few times without it looking TOO large, its all about the scale you play at really.

I used St Pancras and it looks awsome. Gaure du Nord (not spelt right I know) is the largest but I manage to fit it. Though I havent used it in awhile.
