I'm sweating, the temperature is already 11°C (52°F) which is 10 degrees warmer than average.

And the warm moist southwestern wind makes it feel much warmer than that, i could easily go out with a T-shirt on.34.gif

It's hovering around 0 C in Ottawa... we had a bit of snow, but nothing that would stay on the ground. It is sunny right now.

Again an exceptionally warm day with 12°C (54°F) last night was the warmest night ever recorded in January with a minmum of 11°C (52°F).

But during the afternoon, a cold front should move in with dropping temperatures to about 5°C.

It's finally below zero and the little bit of snow that was left yesterday is still here... not enough to cover the lawn, but some. And the cold temperatures make it possible for us to get more. And of course the snow machines on the ski hills to make artifiical snow. Yeah!

We had a little bit of snow this morning, and it might snow again later. It is kind of cloudy and about -3 C. Fortuneately it is cold enough for it to stick around. So let's hope it does.

We had a nice gale today. Fortunality the temperature stayed today in the usual range of January with 5°C (frankly said i'm fed up with those warm January days we experienced in the past weeks in Germany) The forecast doesn't make any hope for a wintry outbreak though...

Gale after gale is tracking over my head. We already had four storms in the last two days

Right now it's 11°C outside and it's in the middle of the night!

For the next week a colder change might be possible, but i doubt that it will be sufficient enough for settling snow here at the coast.

It snowed and the nrained last night... so most of the snow is gone now... washed away by the rain... and some melted today in the slightly above freezing temperatures... and rain. yuck.

I found pollen on the ground the other day...that's scary when it's the middle of January.

Looks like partly cloudy with a high of 80, though. Cold front moving through soon, though. It will be a nice refreshing temperature later in the week.

Its 22 F with light snow, after yesterdays big ice storm. Trees were down all over, blocking roads and knocking out power. Now its supposed to be windy, so more trees will come down. Still got a power line laying in my neighbors yard. Another neighbor had a huge tree branch laying on their car. The window was all smashed in. When I walked my dog, we had to keep climbing over or under trees, and several times I heard a loud CRACK, and a tree falling.

I miss the warm weather in S.E. Michigan we were having for so long.15.gif
