While we beat the old record by 4 degrees with a high of incredible 17°C! (63°F), today it's a bit cooler but still very warm for Late November with 12°C.

For Comparison our average high right now should be 5°C (41°F).....

And oh, for winter, windchills can get around -51F/-46C, and in summer, heat index/humidex around 45C/113F. Prolly has something to do with the mind boggling 330 lakes within city boundaries (and not one is man made either)

Still pretty mild (14ºC-15ºC), considering the average high for this time of year is 7ºC-10ºC (which are actually our night temperatures now). Winds have slowed down to, and now we only have a breeze of around 20-30km/hr (compared to 100km/hr yesterday).

Currently at MSP International Airport it is 9 F (-13C) with a wind chill of -8 F (-22 C). The forecast for tomorrow is a high of 20 F (-7 C) and a low of 6F (-14 C) with windchills between -2 F and -12 F. Winters finally here in Minnesota

well, we're being killed by that storm right now. about 3-6 inches of rain, which somehow contributed to 20 feet in downtown greenwood, Arkansas (lowest area in the region). The mine I work at flooded, and the pond I own is about 3 feet up, and our pool is overflowing.

and the rain still hasn't stopped. in two hours, it will have been 24 hours of almost non-stop rain.

Micah:  You may be freezing in Houston, but this Texan is in St. Louis and we had it about 25F for the morning and early afternoon.  The day's high was about 30F and we're expecting up to 9 inches of snow.  The real fly in the ointment is that 40,000 people are out of power because of the storm, the "official snow" (the stuff predicted after 9PM) hasn't even begun falling, and I'm going to have to shovel a 125+ foot long driveway without much in the way of gloves.
