Oh well, here I am to make (another) CJ...

Geb is it's name, it will be the tale of the civilization from the early times before the advent of the history to the far future when the Great Curse showed it's ugly face...

but...
In this CJ I will try to do a multimedia CJ, it will have an optional Background music. To listen to it click on a link that looks like this: [X], click on it to open a new window, that will open a plugin* for IE to run the music

Author's note:
The musics (that are MIDIs) will suck since:
The hosting is donated by BarbulaM1 so I want to keep them little to avoid space hogging
Many users have the wicked dial-up which would take ages to load, such small files load in an eye blink even on dial-up-ers
They also suck by themselves because they are from 93's old (and forgotten) RPG games, BUT there are NO legal issues with them (they were released by the producers, if you care to search)
Also you will need a midi-playing plugin (winamp and quicktime work)

IMPORTANT NOTE
TheJerseyDevil73 reported that the window which opened the MIDI got frozen when he tried to open the music, so DO NOT open the musics unless you have a plug-in that works with MIDIs, in my list, quicktime and winamp can open, if it worked, specify which plugin you used to open the .midis

I'm sorry for any eventual ememrgency reboots that may come due to that15.gif

SPECIAL THANKS TO:
Barbulam1: He donated 1 megabyte of space to host 35 musics that are the CJ's soundtrack.1.gif

    Chapter 1:
    [X]

    HillCity-9Jan001104012254.jpg
Ohh, a little village, let's take a closer look...
    HillCity-9Jan001104012265.jpg
Hmm this is a bit bare, oh well, what can we expect of a village in the Ice Age. Hey what's this... I sense someone is writing something in that house over there, can we go there and peek?
    HillCity-23Mar001104012350.jpg
    Tuning on mind reader... Stand-by
    Diary entry
    Date: 12/56/15
Today was a very special day...
    Elder.jpg
We went to the elder's home and he passed forth the tale of the Great Empire. It was a very cold day, like most of them after the Cataclysm. We went there, it was very nice to see old Al-mwakh and his wife, they are said to be more than 200 years old and be descendant of the Unbound!
They served us some tea to heat ourselves and started telling the history of the old ones...

(new background music, close the other one and open this one)
    [X]

    The old man said:
I'm here to tell you the tale of our antecessors... And how did their arrogance and sins turned the fate agnist them and how did the Bound ones turn the fate agnist them...
Once upon a time there was a great kingdom, the Kingdom of Laes...
    Kingdom.jpg
Their people fed on the magic and wonders that the Gaia Marble, a stone that was out of the world's core, that contained the life's essence and it's magic...
    12327.jpg
With it they did great wonders and the biggest dream... They lived on the clouds....
    Zeal2.jpg
But as the time passed, such a great power consumed them, Zalia, the evil queen rose into power and they enslaved the Bound ones which lived in earth and that didn't have acess to the Gaia Marble, and as the time passed the Unbound revolted.
One of them managed to enter in the Sky Bridge and climbed into the kingdom...
He managed to put his hands on the gaia stone and threw it into the void with it the empire started to crumble...
    Zeal3.jpg
The poeple of Laes had no more power, since they drained it of the gaia marble.
Some, like my ancestrals, were lucky and managed to land before all the power was drained but most didn't. The empire started to fall like a rock, it started to burn as it falled, the once arrogant and slthful inhabtants of that empire screamed in pain... Paying for their sins...
    meteor.jpg
As they burnt while falling their wicked queen, Zalia used the rest of her magic to launch a curse...
    She said:
In 5000 years the power I launch now will consume the Bound ones
In 5000 years Ma-Jakh will come and consume the Bound ones
In 5000 years Ma-Jakh will come forth and will destroy this world
In 5000 years I will avenge my death...
    That is the Zalia curse...
-I thought it was scary to know we are doomed, since all curses and prophecies made by the Unbound came true, so it is much likely that Ma-Jakh (what means the Slayer of Worlds) will come in 5 thousand years, but I will be dead then...

But the story didn't end there...
The meteor empire hit the ground and lifted a neormous dust cloud that blocked the sun for many ages, causing a frigid Ice age...
The Unbound and the Bound ones passed to live in coexistence, but without the Gaia stone's energy emanating, the powers that the Unbound had are slowsly wearing off...

    ...

What a touching tale... Did you konw it is true, I was here when the empire fallled, and I will be when Al-Jakh comes, fortunately I transend time and space so I will be safe 9.gif

This is the background story to the CJ we are in the early ages, before the ancient times, most Gebans (smae as humans) live in small vilages feeding of the sparse game that they can find in these icy plains, next update will be in the ancient times after the Ice Age (and with more sc4-related pics)

    Author's note:
The narrator is some entity, I perhaps will personificate it later...

    Chapter2:
    [X]
The music is a bit short, so re-play it when it ends... 30.gif

We now are in the ancient times, long before the first civilizations, the Ice age ended, and now snow is only seen in the Great Mountains, for the time being, three major villages formed:

    Askatasuna:

    Askatasuna-26Mar011096726005.jpg

Askatasuna stays in the mouth of the Elin River, they are expert fishermen and also have great knolwedge of shipmaking...
    Let's take closer peeks:

    Askatasuna-26Mar011096726038.jpg

Colorful, isn't it? This looks like to be a nice village to live on, the people are friendly, the weather is nice and the food is fantastic (specially the fish!)

    Askatasuna-26Mar011096726068.jpg
The houses are painted either with local mineral paints or with flower paints, a specific flower produces an extremely powerful paint, which resists to rain, so that's why this village is so colorful

    Askatasuna-26Mar011096726078.jpg

This is the local docks, whraf amd floating village, the market in the docks is where all the different kinds of fish, seafood and algea are sold, both to the villagers and to the passing merchants of other lands...

    Askatasuna-26Mar011096726101.jpg

Most of the farms here are small, they only produce materials to fish nets, so they don't need of big farms... But the honey is a high-value product, and the local farm is buzzing with bees and honey...

    Askatasuna-26Mar011096726124.jpg

The Elite Housing here is in the small villa, sorrounded by banana farms, which are propety of the rich traders and Governamentals...

    Askatasuna-26Mar011096726144.jpg

The City Hall is another busy place, here people and their leaders come to discuss the village's issues and it's future fate...

    Askatasuna-26Mar011096726163.jpg

The Pagoda in the village is a monument to their sea god, and also acts as the granary of the city... Here, fish are stored with salt, it may smell, but according to their beleif, the fish smell satsfies their benevolent sea god...

    Cerealia:
    Cerealia-7Mai051096746893.jpg

Cerealia is a small idyllic village, it's economy is based in it's fertile soils....

    Let's take a closer look...

    Cerealia-7Mai051096746915.jpg

How many farms! They never starve here, do they?

    Cerealia-7Mai051096746925.jpg

The downtown... Ahh, how nice, but WAIT, I'm seeing TWO temples! They must be prospering them, probably are having overwhelming harvests...

    Cerealia-7Mai051096746966.jpg

Wow, how nice... This is good looking, isn't it, people all around, celebrating the blessings of the land and the prosperity of the life...

    Now let's peek the farms:

    Cerealia-6Set051096747069.jpg

    Nice farms

    Cerealia-12Ago051096747012.jpg

    mmm, more farms

    Cerealia-12Ago051096747030.jpg

Nice isn't it, but let's take a last look at the windmill and the Nut Farms...

    Cerealia-6Set051096747106.jpg

Nuts, mmm, they are great, not only are nutritious but also taste great, they also are used with the mushrooms to make the Cerealia Bread...

    Cerealia-6Set051096747084.jpg

This is the windmill, constructed 50 years ago, it worked ever since, ll the cereals when processed are used to make the Cerealia Bread, they are mixed, milk from Togo is added and mushrooms are used to fermentate it, gets very tasty, I assure you.

    Togo:

    Togo-26Out001096749904.jpg

Togo is the smallest of the large villages, but at the same time it is the richest, let's see why...

    Togo-26Out001096749913.jpg

    Mining, that is rich...

    Togo-26Out001096749925.jpg

Lumber, that is great, the Karmarama wood here is amazing, extremely resistant and also is found almost in all forests, it is great to make farming tools and boats

    Togo-26Out001096749956.jpg

What a blessed place! Stone, iron and gold all in the same place, that is great...

    Togo-26Out001096749944.jpg

This is where they get their food, just small patches of plants, of course we can't forget the game...

    Togo-26Out001096750170.jpg

The Pride of Togo, this forteress is primitive, yet it is the strongest building in the world! The best mansons and engineers of Togo made this small engnering wonder, and it stayed intact for more than 100 years, showing the enginering might of Togo...

    Togo-26Out001096750160.jpg

Of course there is the temple, it isn't like the other citie's temples, where they are granaries, here they have only a big hollow buidling with the golden staute of their moody god...

That's it for today. Comments welcome.

They were made by peg, those are his new stuff, the Seasonal trees (the yellow/green/lavander ones) and the pines are also his work44.gif
I got the snow using the 25/december easter egg, now I'm using the snow mod.
The beach mod is at the STEX and I prefered to stay with the ol' water
The village-like buildings in the first update are Sk8zim's colonial village lots (a bit changed to fit the CJ, but still)
