Yeah, I want to pick it up soon to try it out, but I've spent $200 or so on games this past month (way too much for my own tastes...and I didn't even purchase Skylines in that spree).  So, in a few months, I'll be able to justify it...plus it is coming up on summer and more time should be spent outside.

The whole ground thing comes to mind to me- I love going to the ground- as I feel I'm there- one thing I hate though- the way traffic forms in 1 lane only, as though your citizens have the time to stay in a long line rather then switching lanes.

Having been playing SC4 for a long time, I like how CSL comes alive through city building and not just plopping stuff for the sake of aesthetics.

Skylines is an awesome game. I've played 120 hours already. I returned to SC4, a game I love, last night and it has now become obsolete. It will always have a place in my heart but its limitations are now all too evident. I'm sure I'll visit old cites from time to time but as for playing SC4- can't see it.

Skylines is far from perfect but what a fantastic core product. The potential for this game is exciting. I find myself getting totally immersed in my city losing hours in there. It feels alive. The number of assets and mods available after 3 weeks is astounding- far in excess of what has been produced for SC4 over 11 years!

    This!

I cannot go back to SC4 now.  It really shows its age now.

Another thing I like is how multiple fire trucks from different fire houses will respond.  Sometimes as two are already on the scene and the fire has just ended another fire truck would be pulling up but obviously too late to do anything with the fire.  It reminds me of how that happens in real life, when emergency vehicles pull up but sometimes after all the action.

    It's so realistic.
