Hi all. I hope i'm not posting here too frequently

So, i just want to show another cool network design that only posible with the NAM. Rather you will also need one of some cute japanese lightrail stations




I didn't put any city development around it, but just imagine how great it would be

Firstly, would just like to say how honoured I am, to be included as a part of something such as this . I'm glad a lot of you find so much enjoyment out of it, as much as I do (yes, I do do play the game . To be honest though, I've not managed to fully explore/use all the different possibilities with all the NAM items in actual cities in-game). I would personally like to give a big thanks those who have had an involvement with the NAM at all, namely & especially redlotus & the7trumpets, both of whom have helped & contributed quite considerably.

So thought I'd post some pics. Here's some pics from some of my cities. As some might be able to tell, I'm a road nut ..........

EDIT: Hopefully this time, they'll come out properly.

But one thing i keep seeing in everyones pictures is how many trees are planted ... do you guys really plant that many or is there a mod for that?

Normally, there are cars parked there in the spaces. I used one of the prop families for cars coming/going.

Nice work, GreyVeil.  I like the Ped malls.  I'm going to try and work on some of those in one of my cities next time.  I hope you don't mind me posting some more pictures of the NAM in my Region.

 

 

 

This one took me a while to figure out, but it looks nice now that it's done.  The on and off ramps are from NAM, and I wouldn't have been able to fix my horrid traffic problem without it.

Amazing!!!! I was thinking about getting NAM, but after looking at this CJ, there is no question that I'm going to get NAM. It truly is amazing. These are all the things that Maxis should have made default in SC4. The highways and roads are so much better. So many new things are now possible. Thanks so much to the entire NAM team. This CJ is awesome and really shows the abilities of NAM. Thanks a lot to Greyveil. I love your CJ and I'm glad that you like my cacti. I really have to learn to build cities like you guys. I hardly got a chance to play the game after I bought it, because I got addicted to BAT. Now that we have NAM, SC4 will be a lot more realistic and a lot more fun to play.

I am going to have to try again with the Ped Malls. I tried to use them once, and all I got were the No Car zlots, so I gave up.
I guess I wasn't using them properly... as Road alternatives. But I am thinking that each lot still needs to face a road/street.
Any thoughts?
